Something that’s been bothering me about Clash of Super Heroes is how it handles clones. Roll is the moveset clone who isn’t just a glorified palette swap with moveset difference. Even Lilith, who even appears in some of Morrigan’s attacks, is just a palette swap of Morrigan as a playable character (though I will admit, the cutscenes explaining why are hilarious).
I know dev time and resources are, unlike the Stones, finite (along with copyright being “no-fun allowed” like always, which was the reason War Machine made it over Iron Man), but I still feel like if those weren’t issues, Clash of Super Heroes should’ve done more with the clones. Probably something like:
1. Carnage (clone of Venom with some of Spidey’s moves, namely a Maximum Spider reskin dubbed “Maximum Carnage “)
2. Roll (clone of Mega Man)
3. The Thing (clone of Hulk)
4. Shadow Lady (clone of Chun-Li)
5. War Machine (clone of Iron Man, assuming there was no copyright nonsense involved and Iron Man was a character playable from the start)
6. Lilith (all you’d need to do is lift her moveset and animations right out of Vampire Savior, Showtime super and all; they already have it to re-use, so in my mind why not just go all the way?)
And on a side note, I’d add Magneto to the Marvel side (since Clash of Super Heroes was based on the Onslaught storyline) for an even 16 starting characters and 6 hidden characters.

While I do love the later games’ music as is, I do admittedly wish Yoko Shimomura was involved with Xenoblade after the first game.

Just curious; have there ever been any TV channels outside of Japan that are solely dedicated to anime? I don’t mean specific blocks for channels like Toonami, Jetix or 4Kids, I mean entire channels.
You guys know how Bayonetta was supposed to be in Project X Zone 2, but Kamiya said no only to regret it later? Let’s say she was in PxZ2. Which outcome would you guys prefer?
A). As part of a Pair Unit with Dante, with Vergil reduced to a Solo Unit (and an extra Pair Unit is added just to create an even 20 Pair Units and 20 Solo Units)
B). As part of a Pair Unit with Pit (and an extra Solo Unit is added just to create an even 20 Pair Units and 20 Solo Units)

I know this is a pretty tired discussion, but heck with it. If they were to do a Smash Ultimate Deluxe and they had 11 newcomers to reach 100 fighters, who would you guys pick? I was brainstorming potential candidates to appear in Super Robot Wars and when I googled “Dr. Eggman in Super Robot Wars”, I was surprised to not see any threads actually…suggesting him in any capacity. I guess it’s because the Sonic franchise’s never been that popular in Japan, but even then, the complete lack of anyone suggesting Eggman for SRW surprises me.
I still don’t forgive Age of Calamity for lying about the story

I know Thorgi said he wouldn’t do Project X Zone 3 but if he did, I’d like to lay down some ground rules / ideal numbers:
1). Only characters owned by Namco, Capcom, SEGA and Nintendo (though they don’t have to be strictly characters created by those companies). Cross-company Pair Units are allowed.
2). The number of characters should be more than PxZ 1 and 2, but not too much more
3). Characters from Namco x Capcom, PxZ1 and PxZ2 are fair game to return
4). PxZ1 and PxZ2 all used human or human-looking characters, so this roster would be built with that in mind (so sadly, no Mario, Sonic, PAC-MAN or even Klonoa here)
5). The ideal number of playable characters should be 24 Pair Units (6 from Namco, 6 from Capcom, 6 from SEGA, 3 from Nintendo, and 3 mixed pairs) and 24 Solo Units (7 from Namco, 7 from Capcom, 7 from SEGA and 3 from Nintendo
6). Namco x Capcom had 5 prologue chapters and 45 main story chapters, so that would be the ideal number of chapters for this hypothetical game

Assuming the FE4 remake leaks are real, I really hope Hidari comes back as the artist because I think he strikes the perfect balance between classic Fire Emblem and modern Fire Emblem in terms of character design.

You know, nothing stinks more than an antagonist who looks like a fallen protagonist, only to not actually be them at all.
I got bored and decided to compile a list of playable characters in Project X Zone 1 who didn’t Return in Project X Zone 2, as well as what I’d do with some characters if they did return (denoted by bold):
- Alisa Bosconovitch
- Arthur
- Bahn
- Batsu
- BlackRose (Solo Unit)
- Bruno
- Toma & Cyrille
- Devilotte
- Frank West & Hsien-Ko (Frank, I’d pair with Chuck Greene)
- Haken & Kaguya
- Sänger Zonvolt (these three didn’t return because Moon Dwellers is a thing; if any of them did, I’d pair Sänger and Haken)
- Kurt, Riela & Imca (Selvaria Bles was a Rival Unit; if she returned, I’d make her a Rival Unit who joins you later as a Solo Unit)
- Mii & Kogoro (though they do get a passing mention in the story)
- Lady
- Soma & Lindow
- Neneko / Neito
- Rikiya
- Tron Bonne & Servbots
I just learned that the reason why there’s no SRW characters in Project X Zone 2 is because Haken accidentally transported himself to the OG universe and is trapped there during Moon Dwellers. Is there any way for him and Sänger to have been a Pair Unit in PxZ2 or nah? -
