I'm reading a long list of controversial stuff Nintendo has done, and half of them are legetimately damning info and the other half is "no new f zero boo hoo"
I feel like one thing people on both sides of the "men's rights" debate don't understand is that yes, there are ways men are disadvantaged by society proportionate to women, even if to a MUCH lesser extent, but those problems are the results of misogyny and the patriarchy - not the pushback against it - and the solution to them is feminism. Systemic misandry doesn't exist, and social misandry is near-trivial (but should be called out in the rare case it does pop up), but social misogyny encourages problematic traits like the supression of emotion and glorification of violence in men.
Idea: a live action adaptation of an animated IP where the human audience surrogate is the twist villain.
Most of the criticisms of the modern Pokémon games are valid, even if I don't really agree, but the ones that get the most traction are almost all completely irrational (to name them, not bringing back the National Dex and refusing to "grow with the audience" like Digimon and Yokai Watch did)
I feel SSBU should've leaned harder into the whole "more damage in 1v1s" thing, make stuff like Rage F4A only, or have certain moves and comeback mechanics work differently on a functional level in 1v1s and 2v2s.
Imagine if the Nostalgia Critic actually reviewed nostalga - not nostalgic movies, but nostalgic moments. An immortal cryptid with no physical form that enters people's brains like a dream eater to humourously critique the plot holes in their cherished childhood memory of being in the Boy Scouts during the summer of 1978.

Rapsittie Street Kids is a really comforting movie to me for some reason - the plot is as generic and dull as it gets, and all the characters (sans Gigastacy Great Grandma) are annoying, but the campy synth score and below-70s-quality CGI makes me feel really cozy for some reason.

Somebody should make a cartoon where all the characters are species that are entirely associated with a single specific cartoon character. Coyotes, echidnas, platypi, chipmunks, bandicoots, the works.

I said this before on the NASB thread a few times, but feel y'all need to hear it:
The reason why modern platform fighters take after Melee and not Namco Smash is the same reason traditional fighters in the 90s took after SF2 and not SF1. Not saying SSBU is on the level of SF1 of course, but rather that one is very clearly a better base to build other projects from. Ultimate's appeal doesn't come from the engine, Melee's does.
I think Vocaloid is probably the first major DriDim franchise where next to nobody knows anything about it.
I'm honestly surprised it took this long, lmao. Next major franchise should be something easier hopefully, and also has a very high chance of being a movie based IP with the criteria I've got planned (it's not specifically for a movie IP, but it's for a genre that doesn't really exist outside of movies)
Now that I'm in control of my own money, I totally get the whole "Don't order a Happy Meal at 3AM!" thing - no, a scary T Series Dot Exe jumpscare does not appear when you order a fast food meal after sunset, but you can really feel how tired the cook must be. Hope they get paid well
I really dislike how the bar for DLC not being scummy is just "does it have MTX?"
I've played games with MTX that's DLC was distributed in a way that feels fair (CTRNF, to name a name) and games without MTX that's DLC I feel was handled in an extremely manipulative way (SSBU)
I will never understand why people think of Tetromino as a "joke pick".
On the topic of Nintendogs, I feel that there should be more wacky dog and cat breeds like the RoboPup in the next game - not to the point where they overtake real breeds of course, but just 3 or 4 little silly choices like lions or hainu sprinked in would be great. Aging (or even just aged dogs and cats seperate from puppies and kittens) would be a cool feature too, but it should go without saying that death should be off-limits.
I feel the one Nintendo series most fit for VR is Nintendogs, though Metroid comes very close.

I'm only just now realising how much the Wii version of Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots influenced my current taste in gaming - extremely hard linear precision platforming, retro deep cut references, silly plotlines and characters juxtaposed with atmospheric locales and music, probably some other stuff too
