    Random thought: what if SSBU brought back some of the SSE stages, but only for Spirit Battles? Namely:
    • Midair Stadium
    • The Lake (The stage at the end where you fight False Bowser)
    • The Forest
    • The Lake Shore (The first section)
    • The Swamp (The last section)
    • The Canyon
    If these stages being locked behind Spirit Battles doesn’t tickle your fancy, you can unlock them as extra normal stages by completing WoL and getting any ending.

    I decided to revisit every Spirit Battle in Smash Ultimate to see which ones I had the most trouble with.

    It also made me realize, slightly, that not only do a lot of existing Spirits lack battles, but there are seemingly obvious choices for Spirit Battles that aren’t in the game at all.

    In fact, the Pong Assist Trophy is the only Assist Trophy in the game with no Spirit at all.

    Dragalia Lost ends its service today.

    I know a lot of people wrote this off as another gacha game, but as someone who’s played it himself, it’s one of the more generous gacha games I’ve ever played.

    With it shutting down today, I’m extra sad it didn’t at least get a Spirit Event during SSBU’s lifetime.

    Headcanon / Game Theory: the Cash Banooca timeline splits after Warped's endings.
    • Wrath of Cortex takes place after the bad ending, where Cortex, Uka Uka and their minions retreat and start plotting their revenge
    • It's About Time takes place after the good ending, with Cortex, Uka Uka and N. Tropy trapped in their time prison
    • Crash Team Racing, at the very least, takes place in the Wrath of Cortex timeline

    I just realized that Kairi from Kingdom Hearts has a lot in common with Yuri Sakazaki from Art of Fighting.
    • Started out as the damsel in distress
    • Received formal training from a master with much more experience in their fighting style, learning at least enough for self-defense
    • Went mano a mano against the big bad of the franchise, only for the fight to be cut short by circumstances beyond their control (assuming Yuri’s story in Art of Fighting 2 was canon)
    • Both share a desire to prove they can fight to protect who they cherish
