I'm in a but of a weird spot right now where I wanna buy either Scarlet or Violet after I graduate depending on the cheapest possible copies available but I'm also aware of the technical...whatevers that Gen 9 is infamous for.

I had a dream last night that the final Spirit Event was about Wario’s birthday.
I just realized that the Super Mario franchise turns 40 next year
I really wish we had individual character support threads again.
With more recent fighting games like Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 embracing single player content, I hope the next Smash game does the same, even if it’s different from the former two games that I mentioned.
General Grievous has one of my favorite fighting styles in all of fiction and it's a shame he's been reduced to comic relief after his appearance in Clone Wars 2003.
I’ve said this before but an Adventure Mode with the basic structural idea of SSE, the variety of Melee, the enemies of Smash Run and the fighter battles of WoL would be a match made in heaven for me.

Imagine a world where Brawl had Pokémon newcomers from Gen 3* and 4, Sm4sh had newcomers from Gen 5 and 6, and a Gen 8 Pokémon was DLC in Ultimate.
*I know Pokémon Trainer’s design is based on FR/LG, a Gen 3 game, but when I say Gen 3 I specifically mean Hoenn.
Y’know, I’m genuinely kind of shocked that neither Toei nor Saban have ever sought out the Jim Henson Creature Shop for Super Sentai or Power Rangers. The Zyuranger monsters in particular strike me as something out of Labyrinth, Dark Crystal and TMNT I & II.

NGL, the recent announcements have inspired me to push the concept of Shadow as a Ken-style Echo and Eggman as a unique fighter in the next Smash.
I just thought of a potentially interesting gimmick for Magolor based on the Magolor epilogue; Trickery.
In the Magolor Epilogue, Magolor earns magic points based on how many hits he deals in a single combo. Magic points can then be used to upgrade one of Magolor's magical skills, One of those skills is called Trickery, which typically upgrades Magolor's basic skills. With this, I figured Magolor in Smash should have a similar system where he earns magic points through combos to make his moves stronger.
So the title is real after all...what on God's green Earth were SEGA thinking with that title?!

Today’s the 16th anniversary of Brawl’s Japanese release.
Looking back, I’m glad I this was my first Smash game purely because of the single player. All I want for the next Smash besides some of my most wanted newcomers is for the single player to have similar amounts of love to Brawl.
Any hopes/predictions for this year’s February Direct? -
