Imagine a world where Brawl had Pokémon newcomers from Gen 3* and 4, Sm4sh had newcomers from Gen 5 and 6, and a Gen 8 Pokémon was DLC in Ultimate.

*I know Pokémon Trainer’s design is based on FR/LG, a Gen 3 game, but when I say Gen 3 I specifically mean Hoenn.

Y’know, I’m genuinely kind of shocked that neither Toei nor Saban have ever sought out the Jim Henson Creature Shop for Super Sentai or Power Rangers. The Zyuranger monsters in particular strike me as something out of Labyrinth, Dark Crystal and TMNT I & II.

I just thought of a potentially interesting gimmick for Magolor based on the Magolor epilogue; Trickery.

In the Magolor Epilogue, Magolor earns magic points based on how many hits he deals in a single combo. Magic points can then be used to upgrade one of Magolor's magical skills, One of those skills is called Trickery, which typically upgrades Magolor's basic skills. With this, I figured Magolor in Smash should have a similar system where he earns magic points through combos to make his moves stronger.

Today’s the 16th anniversary of Brawl’s Japanese release.

Looking back, I’m glad I this was my first Smash game purely because of the single player. All I want for the next Smash besides some of my most wanted newcomers is for the single player to have similar amounts of love to Brawl.

I think SNK missed out on a potential gold mine; a magical girl idol tokusatsu based on Psycho Soldier during the 90's. I mentioned the 90's specifically because it was not only the height of SNK's popularity but toku heroes were also becoming more popular thanks to Power Rangers.

Give the consumer the ability to buy individual packs of NSO games to own permanently (for example, buying the SNES pack by itself with all of the games intact) and I'd be pretty confident in saying that NSO+EP is the best game subscription service on consoles.

I had a dream last night where the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers was created by Toei instead of Saban in 1993 but still used American actors. Specifically, the good guys were voiced in English (including the Rangers since they were played by their respective American actors) and the bad guys were voiced in Japanese (including Rita / Bandora since she was played by Machiko Soga). That being said, there were still notable differences between the versions released in Japan and America.

Japanese Version	American Version
Many of the good guys were voiced in English (including the Rangers, courtesy of their American actors) while many of the bad guys were voiced in Japanese Machiko Soga's character was named Bandora, just for an example The series was known as Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger	All characters were voiced in English Machiko Soga's character was named Rita Repulsa The series was known as Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers

From here, Toei would alternate between either having the Japanese and American versions of their Sentai have completely different stories and characters or having the Japanese and American versions of their Sentai be the same.

Shower thought: considering it started production in 2000, I’ll never not be disappointed that Kirby: Right Back at Ya was based almost entirely on Kirby’s Adventure when even from 1992-2000, the series has had plenty of games to pull from for both ally and enemy alike.

Who else wishes Smash in general put more effort into alts for other characters? Sora, Joker, Sephiroth, Hero, Byleth, Kazuya, and Steve’s alts in Ultimate are great steps in the right direction, IMO. I just wish other fighters had similar amounts of love with their alts.
