The CatDog stage in NASB is kinda weird because it comes off like a competitive stage desperatly trying to justify itself as a casual stage - I don't know how else to describe it. It's got a relatively neutral upside down battlefield layout with short, asymmetrical platforms, but then it places them at a height that isn't really really fair competitively nor a striking hazard casually, then gives the botton platform an absurd slope to the left and a foreground cover-up to the right - neither of these are bad alone, but it kinda comes off as an uninteresting stage without some kind of hazard.
I may actually write up some revamps for the NASB casual stages at some point, I do have a good idea for CatDog's house at least.
