I know Sonic has it better compared to base game FF, but people are seriously overestimating how well-represented the series is. Eggman being a DLC character can fill in some of the holes the series has in Smash:

Some songs and Spirits that should feel like no-brainer inclusions aren't in Ultimate
- In the former case, Right There, Ride On was cut from Ultimate
The two stages we have are just two versions of Green Hill Zone

So, assuming Eggman was the last character, here's the Challenger Pack idea I had for him:

Don Flamenco's spirit battle is the only Punch-Out!! spirit battle not to play music from the Punch-Out!! universe.

And that makes me sad, because there's a whole load of other tracks they could've used to suit most of the other opponents.

Game of Origin: Sonic Colors (2010)

Layout: Like Green Hill Zone, this stage is a bowl-like shape, but it’s been split in half. There are two platforms above either half that float up and down in opposite directions.

Gimmicks and Hazards: Wisps will appear and assist whichever fighter frees them by pressing B in place of a neutral special (even when you’re in freefall). Two types of Wisps appear:

Spikes: The fighter turns into a spike ball that can climb up the slopes and damage opponents just by touching them (10%, OK knockback); they usually appear in the middle of the stage

Rocket: The fighter turns into a rocket and flies high into the sky, and usually appear on the upper left and right if the stage; save this for when you’ve been launched

Music: All Sonic series music, along with the following Colors tracks:

Tropical Resort

Planet Wisp

Battlefield/Ω Form: The Ω form is based on the red factory bits; the Battlefield platforms are based on the platforms that appear on the stage

Honestly, we should've gotten this in the Wii U version instead of Windy Hill.

Man, Shadows of Valentia was done dirty in Smash Ultimate
It didn't even need a fighter from that game; it just needed better musical and Spirit representation, IMO (especially the latter)

The only Spirits of Valentian characters are Alm and Celica, and they're in a pair! What about Spirits of the characters from the OG Gaiden? Gray, Tobin, Clair, Clive, Mycen, Mae and Boey, Saber, Sonya, Rudolf, Jedah...just to name a few. And that's not even going into the Echoes OC's; Faye, Fernand, Berkut and the Masked Knight.
