    Like, a DmC styled action game with Mega Man X characters? Would be an awesome spinoff, but as Mega Man X 9...definite nope.
    I'd much rather have X9 developed by Capcom themselves-and preferably along the lines of Mega Man 9, a faithful continuation with an SNES artstyle.

    I just had an epiphany about Jack and the Beanstalk; everyone laughs at Jack for trading in everything for a few miserable beans, but the right cultivation of the beans could've led to there being more beans and more plants for more food.

    Basically, the beanstalk and everything that happens after it grows is a fairytale-y allegory for how even a few beans can help you in the long run.

    1. I'd say either Alicia Melchiott or Selvaria Bles, but tbh they would be made lame from Ultimate's lame design, so I don't really care.
    2. Going from recent trends, either another fighting game rep or some really popular figure from a big game. Given that it is the final character I wouldn't be surprised if they went with someone super pandering to lessen the coming meltdown. I'm too out of the loop to know what that is though.

    Bandanna Waddle Dee and Shadow are cool, fine with the other base newcomers.

    Never been a KH enthusiast but I understand why people want Sora.

    Phoenix is a dream come true. So many neat things to do with him.

    I know Sonic has it better compared to base game FF, but people are seriously overestimating how well-represented the series is. Eggman being a DLC character can fill in some of the holes the series has in Smash:
    • Some songs and Spirits that should feel like no-brainer inclusions aren't in Ultimate
      • In the former case, Right There, Ride On was cut from Ultimate
    • The two stages we have are just two versions of Green Hill Zone

    I hate to tell you, but COD is still literal gold mine, constantly topping sales chart almost every year. That's still after Infinite Warfare.

    Making the other studios work on it is terrible and all but I’m pretty sure never making a cod game ever again would make more people angry. It would literally be like nintendo not making another mario game. Activision needs serious changes in the management and their practices but how would cancelling the cod series help anything? Maybe it would result in like, more crash bandicoot or spyro games but that can be done without completely completely stopping production on their biggest series
