I had a dream multiverse of madness was one of those movies where it plays a bunch of different shorts from different directors for some reason and only the last one was related to doctor strange. The shorts weren’t all superhero related but they were all adaptations and I remember one being a fallout movie for some reason.

What I find funny about the 1000 character smash thread is that despite having so many characters the roster actually kinda sucks. Like obviously there’s a lot of different game genres and parts of history represented but it’s funny how many ridiculous things we added and they definitely overshadowed more important characters. Even some series people in the thread have a heavy bias to aren’t even that represented.

What many people need to realize is that they’re really not perfect experts on videogames and their history. Yes you may know a **** ton but you don’t know everything about the history of the medium and no one will. So you need to keep your mind open and realize there are games and things that could be very influential and popular that you don’t know about.

This is somewhat directed at the smash infinite thread but also gamers in general

Multiversus has more solid gameplay than I thought. Barely played any of the alpha but it was really fun. My biggest complaint so far about the game in general would probably be the fact that the menus and everything are clearly designed for online first and it makes it a mess to try to find a single player game or just a game with your friends offline

I think the lumpy touch sweaty luigi video would have been 100 times funnier and creepier if dry luigi was only shown for like one second and then the video ended or even if he wasn't shown at all. That's my problem with a lot of internet horror, it tries way too hard and goes over the top when it would be better if it was more subtle about it.

I know I already posted about this a few times but what I find funny about the 1000 character smash reveal video is that I recently got an ipad that belonged to my grandma before she got a new one and so literally the entire thing’s camera roll is filled with video clips of random videogames and pictures of Bubsy.

(11 minutes 24 seconds are done btw, this is going to take a while lol)

It would be cool if they made a diddy kong racing sequel and revived the “donkey kong-banjo kazooie shared universe” and released it on both xbox and nintendo. Some microsoft guest characters like crash and cuphead would be nice too.

To kind of add onto my point from before about hollywood making remakes of movies from other countries that barely change anything and not crediting them properly… I remember having a french class which was basically entirely dedicated to watching movies from either France or Quebec that were originally made in french.

We watched one called Starbuck and I thought it was actually a pretty good movie. Well they made a hollywood remake of it and guess who now plays my favorite character in the remake? Yes it’s Chris Pratt. Chris Pratt is unavoidable in all movie remakes now and I hate it.

Changed my main from sephiroth back to terry. I find seph fun but when I play as him I’m a bit too reliant on projectiles and it just kinda messes me up against characters who can reflect and I don’t find him fun to play against those characters. Plus Terry is just more fun to play as in general to me.
