I have a weird videogame mandela effect story that happened to me. I played Wario World a lot as a kid (it was one of the first games I ever played) and I could have sworn King Boo was in the intro. For some reason I just remembered him talking with Wario and implying they used to be partners and got a lot of treasure together but king boo doesn’t want to work with him anymore.

From looking up footage there doesn’t seem to be any ghosts at all in the intro and it doesn’t even make any sense for him to be in that role so I have no idea why I thought that. Maybe I just saw the black jewel and assumed it was related to the one on king boo’s crown then just kinda made up a story from there.

I do feel like some people have gotten too used to the idea of the nintendo switch lasting a really long time but I don’t think we can completely discount the idea of an extended console lifespan for it. Nintendo likes to be consistently inconsistent about these sorts of things and given how jaded people have become from the PS5 launch I can see nintendo seeing that and going “maybe we don’t need to release a new console as soon as we normally do”
