Is it controversial to say home theaters are overrated? I just prefer watching movies in like, a living room with a big TV. Why does it need to be a separate room that doesn't feel lived-in at all because you only use it to watch movies.

Pathological lying is a behavior I have so, so little respect for. I've had a few friends who have lied about really minor things and I found out later, and I'm not saying they're bad people, but I hate that. If someone just tells BS a bunch I can't tell how much about them is real and it makes me feel like I can't get invested in that relationship.

Had a dream there was a Minecraft parody song about someone who lives in a snow biome and his only friend is a pig. His dream is to see a pig riding a giant snowman, and the point of the song is that it’s dramatic irony given we know this cannot occur in Minecraft. A tragic song indeed.

The biggest thing I don’t like about the god of war show announcement a while back is that it’s apparently just the norse saga.

The Last of Us (game) really does not feel like as much as a TV show that people say. The way people describe the video game, making a show of it feels like it would basically just be a 1 to 1 remake but that’s really not true. I haven’t seen the show yet, but there is potential in it given that TLOU has a lot of characters who aren’t as developed and plotlines that could have a lot of depth added in an adaptation. TLOU does feel pretty “video game-y” too, the structure of moving to different cities is like levels and many of those levels are fundamentally built around beating enemies. The gameplay, which you can’t put in a show, is pretty linked with the story too at places (I have some examples but this post is long enough) so it would require some work and tweaking for an adaptation. I think TLOU was a good idea for a show adaptation.
Remember when everyone roasted Endgame for implying people would still be playing Fortnite in 2023? God I never miss the times redditors weren’t seen as lame.

I really disliked the idea animal of the animal season for drifting dimensions simply because it’s not really a brand which makes it feel jarring (I know that’s kind of the whole point of it lol) but now that we’re actually submitting them it’s a lot more fun than I would have thought.
This is a pet peeve of mine: when referring to an entire series you have to refer to it as inclusive as possible if you’re actually referring to every game in the series.
It’s the Metal Gear series, not Metal Gear Solid series. Monkey Ball series not Super Monkey Ball series, Wars series not Advance Wars series, etc.
