I shared a story I wrote with someone and the story sort of took a journal structure and it was intended to be kind of creepy too. He said that he likes how you could immediately tell something was off with the situation once the journal starts with “February 30th.” I did not intend that and was just being stupid in thinking that day existed but I’ll take it.

I had a dream I went to a theater to watch a play somewhere in Florida and in the dream this theater was apparently the site of a famous murder. So during the play someone was just randomly dead and no one agnowledged it. Her corpse was just bleeding on a seat and everyone ignored it.

Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon on switch was so weird for a variety of reasons. The game already had a pretty faithful remake on DS and a huge deal was made about this coming to the west when that game was already out in all regions.

They also didn’t bother to release it on NES Online when it was on the service in Japan, and not only that they used a completely different emulator for it. Also everything about the reveal trailer was weird but that’s weird in a good way.

I feel like, partly through the tropes of the medium and partly through their own insecurities, there are a lot of anime fans who infaltilize anime fans who are women. You’ll see them get mad when women read stuff like berserk or chainsaw man because of how dark it is, and tell them not to read it and stuff when they’re fully grown women. It’s genuinely really creepy and uncomfortable to see play out.

Since I’m learning spanish on duolingo various different social media feeds have picked up on it and started showing me memes in spanish (the good stuff) but then I saw a joke (half in english) about a teacher getting mad at someone for saying they “have years.” So pretty much the algorithms think the opposite of what’s going on.
