In honour of the Zelda movie announcement I would like to shoutout the time I had a brief role in a Zelda movie project my friend’s older brother made. The only scene I was in was as a random jailer in Kakariko village where I have someone imprisoned (a dog kennel was used as the jail) and then Link shows up and asks why he’s in a cage so I say in a really robotic voice “that man is in jail because he did something wrong” so then Link chases after him. I think the random prisoner had the master sword too for some reason, I can’t really tell. Also I’m like 90% sure this project never made an actual movie and I certainly didn’t get to see any finished product

I really don’t submit stuff to vg facts that much but also at this rate I’ll probably have submitted one trivia for at least one of every yakuza game

the only reason I actually really submit that many for that franchise in particular is that it’s very underrepresented and there are a lot of youtubers who make facts videos or just talk about obscure knowledge in it

One time I was in a play with my school where I acted as the boss of a strict company that was on strike and the costume I picked just so happened to have been a long green trench coat and a top hat on. So right at the moment where a worker says he’s on strike I improvise a line where I say “You’re on strike? A lot of the time when a bad game is added to NSO and people complain about it, peoples' response is something like "I like when obscure games get a chance in the spotlight." and that's a fair point. In the middle of the Lester the Unlikely's you do get some genuine hidden gems and even if not, bad games do deserve to be preserved. But Nintendo's drip feed kinda makes that irrelevant. When you have to wait months for a game to come out people are inevitably gonna get eager for the next games and there's going to be hype for it. Nintendo has kinda shot themselves in the foot by making new games this big deal. That's probably why they're adding Japan exclusive games to NA now too.

Had a dream I needed to buy a copy of assassins creed 2 for some reason so I went to a mall (which was a real mall except it’s not even in my city) and I entered a grocery store there. The store had a box bigger than my head filled with pork that had the angry emote from clash royale on the box. Also the youtuber matt rose was selling his own book called “The Case For Not Having A Personal Blog” where he just published embarrassing things people said online. There was just one copy sitting on a table. Anyways they didn’t have the game so I went back but then four people tried to start a fight with me and I absolutely demolished them and their blood was yellow for some reason.

I was playing pocket circuit in yakuza and I thought “**** it I’m gonna look up the best model for a car to beat this particular race track.” So I did that but then when the race started the announcer said “This racer customized their car based on internet advice! Let’s see how it pans out!” and I was freaked out because I thought it was some Psycho Mantis third wall breaking moment where you’d be punished for trying to look up the exact perfect combination for this race. Turns out she was actually talking about an NPC character.

most bad fighting games ive played have been funny to look at or at least kinda enjoyable in a bizarre sort of way but castlevania judgment is just bad, like i cant derive any enjoyment from making fun of it while playing. The character designs are the only funny thing about it which has nothing to do with gameplay.

Still can barely get over how dumb it is for Sakurai to make his “I didn’t make cutscenes because people leak them online” claim. The people watching a game’s cutscenes before it comes out probably are interested in it already or were never gonna buy it. Plus the cutscenes being so available just allow people to appreciate them more because who ever wants to go to a “movies” section in a video game and rewatch cutscenes?

The reason it bugs me so much is the amount of victim blaming from people who will defend everything he says. “If the community wanted cutscenes they shouldn’t have leaked them!” as if you’re personally responsible for it happening. I don’t even think a story mode with cutscenes would have been my preferred option and that’s not what I’m trying to argue at all, I’m just saying the usual yeah yeah sakurai out of touch, community defends him too often stuff.
