I don’t know who started the “death stranding only gets good ten hours in” thing but ten hours in is about where you get a gun for the first time so I honestly think some game journalist just played until the point you get to shoot people and thought “aw yeah the games good now that I get to shoot Mads Mikkelsen.”

That’s just speculation but there’s no other gameplay shift that occurs around then so I’m guessing that’s it, even if you can’t even use any guns against 90% of enemies in the game

The new Mortal Kombat game has Kratos with his God of War 2018 design and a new moveset, blah blah blah everyone rejoices. The Xbox and Switch versions include Schmatos, a character with a remakrably similar design and the exact same moveset.

I’m glad death stranding got a resurgence as of late because there’s a lot of good elements that deserve to be appreciated, but I would say the initial reaction was kinda correct in some aspects and there are a lot of really bad aspects to it. Like for one, no person ever talks like a human being and it’s paced pretty poorly.

Gameplay is a lot of fun though it has some flaws but the appropriate response isn’t “haha this game is just a walking simulator lmao ”

I just watched pulp fiction for the first time and it’s interesting that this movie has been referenced so much in non-American pop culture like anime because to someone not very familiar with American culture you’d probably leave the movie thinking every American uses the n word on a regular basis. I mean a white guy casting himself as a character who says the n word is a bit much
