Well, my prediction was exactly right. Nintendo fans are complaining about this new switch model despite the fact that they’ve been asking for it for years.
“The console war isn’t real anymore” is an accurate phrase and all, but still, 98% of people who say this are probably just nintendo fans wanting to justify owning a console with a lot less games than playstation or xbox

I know companies would never do something like this but mini-consoles like the NES classic were be able to play original cartridges/discs from the old consoles.
Americans won’t shut up about how much they love their country and how important preserving it’s history is but if you ask them, they probably don’t know **** about their own history

Yeah the nintendo switch is pretty overhyped especially in regards to it’s portability. If you have a travelling case it is pretty easy to carry around but still thanks to the clunkiness of the charging dock and pretty terrible battery life of the system, I’d honestly just prefer to bring a 3DS or something on long car trips and play older games. Sorry but it’s true.
I mean don’t get me wrong, it’s a great console and has some pretty amazing exclusives. The collection of third party games are also pretty impressive for Nintendo. I just think it’s really, really overhyped as far as consoles go
Some people have this idea that Rare no longer cares about banjo-kazooie and thinks nobody cares about it aside from smash, but I can practically guarantee that’s not true. It’s freakin’ banjo-kazooie, of course they know how special it is to some people. They probably just don’t have much ideas for a sequel and would rather focus on other things.

I’ve decided that from now on whenever I replay games I’m going to switch the language to french because I’ve been learning it ever since kindergarten and want to actually get some practice with reading the language during the summer.
The first game I’ve tried this with is Cuphead and like… I wouldn’t say it’s the perfect game to try this with lol. I might replay metal gear solid 3 in french soon and that’ll be an experience for sure.
Sometimes it feels like scalpers are actively encouraged in the videogame industry. It doesn’t help when even companies like amazon will sell widely available games for ****ty prices. If you’ve ever tried to sell a widely available game for over 100 dollars, **** you.
If someone has taken the time to get to know the most obscure nintendo series but doesn’t know what tekken is, they’re probably not really interested in the gaming industry, just in one company.

Do the “sega only makes sonic and yakuza games” jokes even still apply any more? I mean they’ve revived a lot of their old series but I’m pretty sure they’re mostly one-offs

I’ve gotten the phoenix wright ace attorney trilogy on switch over a year ago and I’ve finally beaten it today. It feels really weird to be done with a game I’ve spent so much time getting through. The feeling of not being done with it has almost been like, a “part of my life” in a strange sort of way.
Even though I took so long to beat a 60 hour game, I still really enjoyed it and think it’s one of my favourite video game series ever. The series has become a really special thing to me now, and I’m pretty excited to play the rest of the series and join the fandom. It took me so long because I took huge breaks in between cases and underestimated how long some of them would take.
I would highly recommend the series, just know it’s pretty long lol.
The slogan “**** cancer” sounds funny to me because like… I’m pretty sure we’ve already established cancer is in fact bad. I feel like it makes it sound like disliking cancer is some unpopular opinion that people will disagree with. Obviously the cause is good but I just find the slogan weird.

Midgar is such a disappointing stage tbh. I like the idea of the summons is good but it just ends up not really improving the stage’s boring layout and weird design choices. The stage should have been midgar slums if you ask me.

It feels like I've seen quite a bit of people fondly remembering Rival Schools and saying how underrated it is, but not really with the Fighting Vipers series, which I understand is a pretty similar series to rival schools. I wonder if it's a good series or not.
