Because it was nearly completely isolated from the majority of the world for a long time of its history and evolved both a distinct language and culture of its own, which later merged with the influences received from the rest of the world.

That, and living by the norm is boring.

They're not common names in Finland. There's nothing preventing parents from naming their child for example John, but it's extremely rare.

Then again, that applies to every country in the word, as they all have different names common to them.

Edit: Oh and for future needs, you don't have to write my entire username (since it's very long and annoying to write).

HSS is perfectly fine, that's what pretty much everyone else calls me too.

Well, common Finnish names would be something like Kalle, Matti, Anne or Liisa. First two for boys and the last two for girls.

I think I'll stop jabbering on about Finland now before everybody gets too bored... but as a final note, I'll mention that Finland is also the master of unexpected cameos.

Haha! I kind of like that name "Kalle" but it's actually a guy's name. I thought I could count on myself for thinking up a more original name to call you xD

Just wanted to let you know that JuJux is playing in the winner's finals of the LT event of BBI. Last time I checked he was 2-1 ahead against Rydle in the WF - Rydle being the Ike player that 3 stocked Ally's Falcon.

Edit: He just beat Rydle and is in GF now. Rydle plays in LF against Mr R / Ally / Bart or Edu I think

Edit 2: He won GFs :)

Still doesn't change the fact that France is getting beat by Zelda of G tier.

The tournament is still going on.
They will do doubles tomorrow and singles on sunday.
There is no livestream because the venue sucks too much for it...
