First and foremost, I would keep my mouth shut about it. I'd wait until an opportune time to hide the money in a safe place; most likely buried underground. I'd start a bank account to secure some funds, but never deposit enough to look suspicious. I also wouldn't make any purchases or investments large enough to raise any eyebrows.
