No B bracket IMO. Lets just do things the way the rest of Aus/other english speaking countries do. Thats the way it will be in nationals and stuff.

I would say that we would use pools in our national and hopefully state wide tournament if we plan on holding a WA major_ Speaking of which, we should begin a serious discussion on dates for our national and locating a venue etc_

What Bob said. I don't see nothing happening if we don't start to do somthing now.

I also agree with Jupz.

The person in the past few tournies who has always been eliminating me out of winners is Samuel and i most the time have him in the secound roud i swear that bracket organiser hates me.

But last time we tried pools or somthing new it was only Jupz, Vlade and I left in the venue with one extra hour to go.

Oh and when is the Power rankings going to come up eh?

If we get enough people I'd be eager to see how it works, but will there still be a prize for B Bracket???

Wishful thinking :D

Yes, boys and girls, innovation is bad. Remember, if you don't conform to everyone like you, you're wrong. All renegade lifeforms will be deleted.

Is your warranty expired, or did you modify your Wii? If yes to either of those questions, you're paying for it to be fixed. :p

After all, how could you survive without Brawl?

I recently paid $100 for it to be fixed a few months ago when it didn't read disks, now it reads the dis and comes up with "error, remove disk and turn off console".

So over that piece of ****.

Vlade i love your post. ;) It's like Bob and I did a fusion ha.

Marx i think i know how your wii broke. You went to your cousins house up north and they gave you some revenge ****. Fear wanted to know someone to main and i bet he picked up metaknight and used him on your link and you just lost it and just threw your controller across the room causing your wii to fall and die.

Andre's wii > Marx's wii

Comon it survives barrel rolls.

I can't believe you related me to Alzi (no offense)_ B brackets are a good idea for when pools are present (ie nationals, large scale tournaments) as it keeps people who have been eliminated from pools staying around and participating in the scene against players of equal skill level_

The concept of a B bracket works well also because players don't get better by being constantly flogged and by having a tournament of average to low skilled players helps there skill increase and also satisfies there needs from a tournament_ This means incentives to stay around after being eliminated and participate in the scene alongside being given a competitive bracket that is around their skill level_

Are Fear and Chartel and you coming to the Tournament?

If so then Trav can add you to the list.

Also if anyone wants to hand out posters in stores i have the old posters with me so i can just edit out the text and out in the Church's location instead of Arena.

I hope people don't rock up assuming it's a Starfox tournament as well =.=...

Otherwise, poster it up!!! If anyone's going into the city, there's heaps of possible places there... How many games shops do they have now, like 50 or something??? :p

EDIT: Why the hell is everyone going to Japan!?!?!?!? It's not fair T.T

Hay Street EB Games, Carrilington City EB Games + Game Traders (+ White Dwarf Bookstore I would wager, they advertise Waicon and such) London Court's Tactics Gaming store (more card/boardgames, but they'll stick em up) Posibly Al's Cardsshop too.

and that's just off the top of my head :p

I just watched The End of Time. I don't think I'll ever be the same person again now.
Same. Oh man, I am going to miss the Tenth Doctor SO MUCH

This. B bracket just sucks because its different. You don't win anything. If you want to get better go play friendlies.

Also just found out I can't come on the 10th :( Flying out to darwin. I thought I was going on the 12th but I wasn't :(

I hope theres another tourney before the holidays are out.

A bit money hungry are we Jupz_? The idea is not for the win but rather to keep players who didn't make it through the pools occupied and promote scene + player growth_ If a player isn't quite *** killed currently then they shouldn't be discriminated against by excluding them from competing after they fail to qualify through pools_ Having the B bracket is great for these players to vs players of equal skill AND it keeps the competitive and active within the scene_

People don't learn by getting their arses handed to them non-stop and most don't even return_ The B bracket concept is a great idea if we garnered a large enough number to require pools_
