Yeah this is what i was implying_ I have been looking into updating to 4.2 for SDHC capabilities and to make me reinstall and reboot homebrew etc to learn the ropes a bit better_ It's a bit of messing around but it's worth the learning involved_

I'm thinking we do this:

North vs South crew battles.

Rules
- Stock / Depends on how much people we have in each crew if north has more then south then we can either put some north people with the south or not include them.

- Each crew chooses one character that is going to be played by everyone.

- No timer

- You have only one stock each

1- A example Bob loses his stock while vsing Samuel Bob is out for the whole crew battle but Samuel stays on how ever much % he has left.

2- South then send in Marteh, Marteh takes 20% damage and finally kills Samuel once he reaches 160%.

Does anyone understand what i mean? So it's like crew battles just each crew uses one character that was agreed on for the whole match. Metaknight, Snake, Wario, Falco, Marth, Diddy Kong are all banned. Or we can ban the whole SS and S tier.

I think this would be more fun and challanging it has up and down sides like us North could chose Rob where Ric and Trill both play a good rob but the others in our crew have no idea how to use him but have to anyway when they are sent in. This does even it out more otherwise North would just **** if it was a crew battle were we could chose our characters.

Heh oh there you go, yeah Bob I've never tried it but DOPIOS I think it's called lets you upgrade certain aspects of your wii, like only the file needed for a new game instead of upgrading to 4.2. May want to check it out.

Anyway, feedback for Laser Tag guys... I'll assume you can organise who's going to be there amongst yourselves, but I'd like to know numbers pretty soon after I get back... I won't be allowed to work it so I have to get off work first, and then I have to book it... This all takes time, and if I'm going to give a week's notice to you all then I'll need to book it before the 24th...

Nah, it's essentially Random, but you draw your character from a Crazy Hat rather than use the in-game randomiser

Crazyhat Tourney: All characters are written down three times and put in a hat (ideally Mic's awesome hat). When the tourney starts, everybody draws a character. That is your main for the tourney.

We've run pools before, so we have enough for that. If we have enough for an A bracket out of pools, surely there's enough for a B.

EDIT: @Vladeyboy: Main complaint with pools was you didn't get to play in the real tournament. Problem gone with a B bracket, no?

We had like 32 people when we tried running pools, dunno if we'll get that kind of turnout on the 10th

If this is the case I could rank high in the losers tournament with playing the chracter my name suggests instead of being a metawhore, what a lovely day it is to me, Trav, and not Marteh using his account.

I would say that we would use pools in our national and hopefully state wide tournament if we plan on holding a WA major_ Speaking of which, we should begin a serious discussion on dates for our national and locating a venue etc_

if we could get the numbers i think pools and a a b bracket is an awesome idea. Wasnt the whole idea we rejected pools because people who didnt make it out of pools didnt get to play enough matches? Well a B bracket would eliminate this????

Also Alzi, yes the pit and MK under the stage thing is a good idea. Yea and leave the timer at 8, 10 mins and SD is a bad idea

The dates I 'used' for the temporary dates when asking venues was the 2nd until the 5th of December (2nd only for getting **** set up, mind you, because I feel doing it on the day would be a tad chaotic), since people seemed to want a 3 day national. I think they're fine dates if people book flights in advance.

its a much better idea and actually much nicer because rather then just getting eliminated and not getting to play any more tournament matches they get to experience what brackets are like against people closer to their level.

I think this would also help the scene grow because im sure some people dont come back because they get destroyed and eliminated very quickly by sam or someone, lol.
