You're white, therefore you fail Japanese... Or at least that was the trend during my TEE year (no joke, there were like 7 white guys doing Japanese and 5 of us failed... I got 60% average, and the other guy was a freak and got like 80%... Not sure about the white girls, though - I could only see Asian girls at both the exam and the Speech day thing... OH GAWD the horror of the speech day T.T)In saying that, I am failing Japanese, so, you know.
Yeah when I was in Japan I saw the black wiisYour lies don't work on us now that we've seen your true colours_
On a side note_ Is anybody looking at purchasing a black wii_? I'm heavily contemplating this alongside my future ps3 purchase but fear it will have the current updates, thus disallowing me from homebrewing_!! Also waiting on Monster Hunter Tri_
As I said to Ric I think they're just jealous of Sam's talent and looks.
Who the **** runs three tests the day after an 11 o'clock dinner dance? Ugh, I feel tired as **** and I have to do tests in 3 out of 5 periods. Someone shoot me.Man, linking people to youtube while they're doing their assignments is diabolical :D
281/2500
EDIT: 450/2500... It's now becoming clear that the sheer obsolescence of this assignment is directly impacting on my willingness to complete it... Thus, I'm going to go to bedWill (no, MUST) finish tomorrow, I guess ^^
Allow me to reword this for you then_ Sam isn't playing as serious unless he is playing TL (singles) or Snake/ TL (doubles)_ You could call it sandbagging yes, but in other terms you would just say he doesn't take the matches as seriously_You then went on to say that you know sam is sandbagging if he doesn't use TL...and he didn't.
It is a great songAllow me to reword this for you then_ Sam isn't playing as serious unless he is playing TL (singles) or Snake/ TL (doubles)_ You could call it sandbagging yes, but in other terms you would just say he doesn't take the matches as seriously_
I lol'ed at S.D's remark about hurt feelings and could only think of that Flight of the Concords song_ "I've got hurt feelings, I've got hurt feelings"
Note: Still waiting on final results for Sunday's tournament_ Otherwise i can't post them or upgrade the rankings_ If anyone has a definitive answer for me or is able to contact the people who's results we don't know that would be great_
I am also extremely jealous of the Perth scene.![]()
yeah man, those games were pretty sweet. i need more offline practice though :/ hopefully i'll place decently at the next tourny i attend, which HOPEFULLY isnt too far away.Good games Techno, really fun. You're going to do really well at the next tournament.
I don't understand why all the segregation is going on... We're all AustralianIm interested to see how the rest of Perth's skill level is compared to the East Coast.
hahahhaa, this made me laugh sooo freakin hardIsn't Metanova from Adelaide or something?
no he did come off as a bit of a douche
after hearing he said i was a bad player (despite going near even with him)
and him also saying he doesnt sand bag
he's come off as a uh, bit of a liar even in my eyes
and i was actually really nice to him on the days, trying to be nice - kind of regret it now after hearing what he said to someone else, thereby contradicting himself, either one or the other
Wow, I didn't realise some (most?) people over at Rocky thought I was some sort of evil arrogant showoff. Don't get me wrong, before coming to rocky I was confident that I COULD win (not confident that I WOULD win, they are 2 different things), by no means did I mean to come off as some guy that was a master at everything and was almighty in comparison to everyone else. Somehow it seems I left this impression on some people anywayohohoh but scoot, you are a bad player!
I thought he came off as a bit of a **** at first but I dont really think he's that bad, he did seem abit full of himself but then he did win so...
but the sandbag point stands, he didnt even bring toon link out until singles started on the second day, and refused to play tink in friendlys and stuff.
you calling me a bad player was something i heard from someone in the perth scene, I'll disregard it, but it came from one of your ownWow, I didn't realise some (most?) people over at Rocky thought I was some sort of evil arrogant showoff. "after hearing he said i was a bad player (despite going near even with him)

I don't remember calling you a bad player...ever actually. All I remember saying is that your falco is a lot less technical and developed than Vlades Falco. I dont think anyone would disagree with me on this. Anything else you may have heard from someone else isn't true and should be disregarded.
Sandbagging (as far as I view it anyway) is specific to a set of matches. I dont sandbag in the sense that when I am in a match (regardless of my character) I will try to win. You guys may view sandbagging as 'not choosing your main', thats all well and good but when I say I dont sandbag I refer to the way I play in a match regardless of my character. I think the Perth scene can verify that I dont sandbag.
The reason I didn't use TL on the first day or in friendlies is as Bsrk said, it was a tactic and clearly it worked. I didn't want people analyzing my playstyle. You'll actually notice that in the commentry of one of the videos Shaya says something along the lines of "I learnt this from Corpse's playstyle and gave tips to Tibs about it", I wanted to minimise this as much as possible.
After the tournament finished though, I was more than willing to play TL in friendlies (if time hadn't ran out), I WANTED to fight Shaya / Tedeth / whoever else that wanted to play me and I would have faced them with my TL if time allowed it. It wouldnt make any sense at all to go all the way to Rocky and then run from challenges from reputable players...it would defeat the reason why I went there in the first place.
Anyway, I had fun at Rocky, as far as I knew I didn't make any enemies, everyone was cool and fun to talk to but if people didn't like me for some reason then so be it.
You are right. I can't accurately judge your Falco until I've actually fought you when your using it. From what I've seen in videos though and from my experience with Vlade, it is my personal opinion that Vlades Falco is better.you calling me a bad player was something i heard from someone in the perth scene, I'll disregard it, but it came from one of your own
in either case, you can't really judge my falco considering i used him maybe a total of 5 times in the whole tournament. I also didn't use him on you, so yeah.
