I like that much gap between everything. But i don't mind what day we have the tourney. Aslong as everyone can be there on that day then it should be fine.


Oh technodeath next smash will come half way through the year 2013 or towards the end. In Japan then near the start of 2014 Australia will have it on shelfs. This is my guess and i think it's accurate remeber this post everyone.

Heres how i guessed it:

End next year 2010 new handheld coming through.

2011: New handheld comes through to Australia

2012: Begining or half way through we get a new console.

2013: New smash bros announced and we get some info on it.

2014: Out worldwide.

I wish I could study

I'm not doing very well in physics this semester lol. I actually find it really hard to study. Like in class I really want to study and do homework and stuff and then when I get home just cbf seriously. Sooooooooo hard. One of my friends does like 2 hours study every night and completes all his HW and stuff. Dunno how he does it. funny thing is he's only beating me by 3% average in maths specialist lol. I keep saying just do it. So I say to myself just sit down and do it. So I sit down open my books write a sentence or two about english for the essay tomorrow. Then I just say hmmm im gonna check perth smash thread. then i end up going on facebook or looking up guitar tabs then I go and get my guitar and practice.
or I just sit there and listen to music and stare at my page.

sometimes when I get worse marks in tests I can study and do HW because I feel more motivated to do well. but it hasnt been happening recently. and i want to get my physics up to an A so I can maintain straight A's through year 11. (funny thing was last year I was getting B's and C's with the same amount of work , dunno what the hell happened there lol)

anyway so thats my self rant of the day. tips on how to study pls

I'm doing extremely average in all of my subjects so I'm happy with that.

I feel the some way, I just really have zero motivation but what I hound the other night helped me was I got a bag of lollies and every 2 sentences I did on my report I rewarded myself with a lolly

Word is that the next Nintendo console will be in 2011_ Thats gives the wii at least it's 5 year cycle which is fairly average_ I would like to see Megaman in SSB_ Too many DK characters would be annoying_ Another Toon character would be good such as Tetra but Ganon should just have a toon outfit as an alternative costume_

Travis Touchdown would be so amazingly epic_ I wouldn't be surprised if they introduce a Mii as a playable character lol_ Joanna Dark would be ideal alongside possibly BanjoKazooie, but honestly how many characters do Nintendo have that are viable as fighters_? Another F-Zero character is well overdue imo_

Well, since the "Nintendo Only" barrier has officially been broken (I don't think there were non-Nintendo characters in SSBM lol) I have a feeling more outsourcing will be done... Maybe another Sega character, but other than that I reckon we're going to see some characters from Indie games that were made Wii-specific (I want Metaknight OUT though )... Just a hunch I doubt it, but I hope to **** that the new SSB is on the Wii... I don't want to have to buy a new console just to play the new one (which is sorta why I had put off buying a Wii in the first place as all I really wanted was SSBB, but now I've got some other games that I can play on it too, so onwards to purchase )

[EDIT: They will definitely bring in another Mario character - I'm betting on Waluigi or Baby Bowser <--- my new main if that happens xD]

RE the study habits, the best way I found to get motivated to do work was to stay at school and do it after school... For me, coming home meant coming home to a sh*tload of distractions, be it the computer, video games, food or the basketball hoops down the street... Staying at school meant that there was really nothing else to do BUT study... If that doesn't work, or you can't get anyone to take you home later, then try just staying in your school uniform - might seem weird, but if you can best simulate a school situation at home then you'd probably feel more inclined to study (or at least half-way more motivated lol)... Psychology rawx

You could also try applying your Physics knowledge to something you like... For example, during my TEE for Japanese I limited myself to only playing the Tales of Legendia Japanese import whenever I wanted to play a game during the school terms - the result was a ridonkulous improvement in my listening section (with only a minor decrease in speaking ability due to accidentally learning all of the filler sounds that apparently aren't so "formal" But hey, I scraped a pass so that's all good, and now I've forgotten all of it lol)... I guess with Physics, you could apply it to Brawl: how far would Dedede's aerial side-B travel if he launched it at 5m/s at an angle of 20 degrees, launch height of 4m above ground and assuming gravity is 9.8m/s^2???

That is, of course, assuming Year 11 learns projectiles??? I can't remember back that far T.T What do you guys learn anyways???

Electricity... relate it to Pikachu "A Pikachu emits 500 volts using its side smash against Marth... If Marth's body contains 20 ohms of resistance, what is the intensity of the attack???" (It's been a while since I did electricity, so if everything's wrong then forgive me )

Yeah we've done all the kinematic equations and the such, electricity would probably be more like circuts so if pika's meutral b has 100V and FD has a resistance of 10 Ohms at one point and 5, 4 and 7 at the others what is the current in the circut and the voltage drop across each resistor?

Luigi bud, I don't know if it's worth going. Your results just aren't cutting it lately. You play well but don't get the win, so there is no point in really going to a major is there? You don't try to pop balloons on smashville and you haven't been hitting as many shoyrukens as you use to.

New Super Mario Bros wii comes out November 12th here which means we get it before the WHOLE WORLD. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT NINTENDO AUSTRALIA ARN'T LETTING US DOWN FOR ONCE.

In other news the new wii update, updates your shopping channel and no that is not all the new shop update means that if you have someones wii code registered and you help someone then you both get rewarded 500 wii points for free!.

So Basically example.

1-Alzi has Petes wii friend code and he has mine.
2-Pete just updates his wii.
3-Pete goes in the shop channel
4-Pete chooses me saying that i helped him connect to the internet
5-Pete and I both get rewarded 500 points.

It can only work up to 20 times i believe. Nintendo believe that this will ecourage more people to go out and buy wii points to spend on the shopping channel. I think it's just another way that us nintendo fanboys can put this to good free use.

Some people have homebrew most do but i don't want to hack my wii so this is a good thing for me.

I will then have 1500 sitting in my wii shop bank.

More news in the U.K if you pre-order spirit tracks you get a special limited edition tin case where the game sits inside it and two figurines of a phantom and toon link at the bottom. I hope we get somthing cool otherwise i will blow somthing up in rage.

I do what Travis does when I study

Just get out some sweets, it makes you stay at the desk and it seems to help me concentrate.
But really my biggest motivator for studying was to go to these tournaments. I studied most of Friday night and most of Saturday just to go to the tournament on Sunday.

I have a solo cello performance tonight so all I can do is upload the last grand finals match

On this study case, my motivation is really just to do well on tests. After experimenting in year 8 and 9 and getting average marks I decided i did not like it. So i changed it. But yeh, i dont study casually and i really should, but just massive cbf.

I don't study lol.

Only for upcoming test i study for about 5 minutes and for exams i study for about 20 minutes every day for one week then do the exams. But next year i promised myself to study every day and review everything we went over.

So i might hardly post here. Most my time i might be doing graphics stuff on my computer so i can get ahead instead of doing it at school since the school computers run CS4 so slowly. Well it's alright but still my computer runs it faster and never loads when i do somthing intense.

Yeah mic i know you get a free cap but it's a cap.. It's just a ordinary cap with a m on it which makes me sad. I want the actual plush hats or a tin case with the game. Very sad how they dropped the limited edition tin case here in Australia and just used a cardboard box the American version of Metroid prime trilogy has a awesome steel case.

Wouldn't suprise me at all for it to have the latest homebrew blocking firmware. I'd suggest waiting (or buying and holding onto the reciept) for people to do their magic.
