This.I don't really understand the Corpse bashing that seemed to be going on in some of the commentary. I personally found Sam to be a very nice, very approachable and easy to talk to guy. Any pretense of arrogance is justifiable by his immense skill anyways. You'll note when I was involved with the commentary I didn't have a bad word to say, but I imagine the others had some sort of reason for their attitude. Obviously their experiences were different to mine, but I get the feeling people's feelings were hurt or some **** when Sam ***** them.
That's not good - it means things (not imports) will become more expensive given that the Americans can now make a larger profit off of usWait, just to stop the interstate conflict: Economists project due to us skyrocketing out of the recession, the AUD will hit 1.10 USD. We shouldn't fight each other in times like this, we should be insulting Americans!
So I think we should create a thread where all the Perth Brawl players can congregate and talk about stuff... Anyone else agree???I think we may be past that conversation by a bit. Get with the times![]()
I thought you mained Falcon because you could see potential in him where nobody else could...?I remember that I hide behind Falcon being bad to make me seem better.
I'm told I play an unorthodox Falcon, so, sure, I'll pay that as a reason.I thought you mained Falcon because you could see potential in him where nobody else could...?
Well, for Falcon, orthodox means 'plays like Rebaz' and unorthodox means 'doesn't play like Rebaz'.Is there an orthodox Falcon...? Or rather is there enough Falcon mains to create an orthodox Falcon method???
Unless you've read some sort of statement from Nintendo saying that they will, then you don't know that.MTGod yes the black wii's will definatley come with the most updated version.
Yeah sorry Corpse, it was me giving tips to Tibs about some stuff I noticed. Didn't matter in the end anywayWow, I didn't realise some (most?) people over at Rocky thought I was some sort of evil arrogant showoff. Don't get me wrong, before coming to rocky I was confident that I COULD win (not confident that I WOULD win, they are 2 different things), by no means did I mean to come off as some guy that was a master at everything and was almighty in comparison to everyone else. Somehow it seems I left this impression on some people anyway
"after hearing he said i was a bad player (despite going near even with him)
and him also saying he doesnt sand bag"
I don't remember calling you a bad player...ever actually. All I remember saying is that your falco is a lot less technical and developed than Vlades Falco. I dont think anyone would disagree with me on this. Anything else you may have heard from someone else isn't true and should be disregarded.
Sandbagging (as far as I view it anyway) is specific to a set of matches. I dont sandbag in the sense that when I am in a match (regardless of my character) I will try to win. You guys may view sandbagging as 'not choosing your main', thats all well and good but when I say I dont sandbag I refer to the way I play in a match regardless of my character. I think the Perth scene can verify that I dont sandbag.
The reason I didn't use TL on the first day or in friendlies is as Bsrk said, it was a tactic and clearly it worked. I didn't want people analyzing my playstyle. You'll actually notice that in the commentry of one of the videos Shaya says something along the lines of "I learnt this from Corpse's playstyle and gave tips to Tibs about it", I wanted to minimise this as much as possible.
After the tournament finished though, I was more than willing to play TL in friendlies (if time hadn't ran out), I WANTED to fight Shaya / Tedeth / whoever else that wanted to play me and I would have faced them with my TL if time allowed it. It wouldnt make any sense at all to go all the way to Rocky and then run from challenges from reputable players...it would defeat the reason why I went there in the first place.
Anyway, I had fun at Rocky, as far as I knew I didn't make any enemies, everyone was cool and fun to talk to but if people didn't like me for some reason then so be it.
congratulations corpse, you're almost as crafty as meThe reason I didn't use TL on the first day or in friendlies is as Bsrk said, it was a tactic and clearly it worked. I didn't want people analyzing my playstyle.
I laughed when I read it. Corpse isn't arrogant, I spoke to him and his brother for ages; I didn't get that impression at all. As opposed to rage quitting a match because someone else (who usually uses Ness) decides to pick MK.
Angry that it the bashing started from swordsaint first.
