Great tournament. I hope Alex Strife had a lot of fun on his Birthday. Red Robin's and Paranormal Activity afterwards was great.

However, I really hate playing this game in tournament. There's no point in trying to prove how good I am in tournament placings, if I'm always going to make technical errors and play like garbage, and make really dumb mistakes when I have the lead.

No offense to either of my opponents that defeated me GIMR and Logic, who are both skilled players.

Yeah, It's just that entering these last three events reminded me why I stopped entering tourneys in the first place. I KNOW how good I am at this game, and if you'd like to know, play me and find out for yourself. I'm not going to money match you, I always play seriously, because I think it's insulting to sit down to a match and not try your hardest if your opponent is looking for a way to test/improve their skills. I understand that you might not go 100% if there's fear of facing the opponent later in bracket, but since I won't be entering, that's not really much of an issue.

Also, I'll still be entering doubles, as I seem to function normally in that format. However, I'm not teaming with anyone I don't feel capable of placing in the money with. I'm good enough, and if you would like to find out, then like I said, you can play with me and see for yourself. If you don't think I'm good enough, and don't want to team, then that's fine.

I'll still be going to tournaments, and even traveling and entering nationals, but I think there's really no point for me to waste money to make stupid input errors and have disgustingly bad technical skill when it matters.

I love this game completely. I will probably be a part of the Smash community until it dies. I will always continue to practice and improve and become the best player I can be. However, I will not exercise and demonstrate my skill in tournament bracket anymore, because it's simply a waste, and really doesn't prove anything worth proving. I'll continue to offer advice to anyone who respects me enough to ask. I greatly enjoy the company of most of you, and I hope to see you often, but I won't be a factor in your bracket.

Good jab. everybody. This was a really amazing tourney. The beginning of it was pretty sour for me because of my controller acting up. I was initially not going to enter because a persons unnamed who were supposed to lend me a working classic controller ended up not, so I had to enter with a busted controller.

CCs are infamous were mechanical failures, as I've had to go through 4 in the past year and a half just from Smash alone. Dirt gets inside the analog sticks and desensitizes them, making inputs very difficult to read, thus making you do things you don't really want to do. Unfortunately, this mechanical malfunction cost me two sets I'dve (no offense intended to my opponents at all; please understand where I'm coming from) never, ever lost otherwise. Like against LinkX, when everyone saw me repeatedly NAiring OoS instead of DAiring and having to constantly reconnect my controller.

The day got better though. I went to look for something in Aileen's car and found a spare CC and GCC in there that I'd forgotten in there from a previous tournament and used it to rematch the people I fought in bracket to MMs. With a working controller, I ended up winning my money back from singles and grabbed a sound victory over both of them... felt good. I'm really glad I was able to find that spare CC, because if I had to go home with those ludicrous losses, I'dve been a pretty unhappy ****ing camper lol. I mean all the best to my opponents whom I faced in bracket, but those were just not matches I'dve ever lost otherwise. o_o

Execution never ever becomes perfect for anyone in any game of any genre. It's disappointing if you're going to let such an issue impede your progress as a tournament player. I'm curious what specific technical errors are affecting your game.

Couldn’t stay for the after tournament events but the tournament was fun. In terms of efficiency and space, easily best run tournament. In other words, good s*** Strife. Faced the same 2 people as normal (Keitaro and Pwii) which kinda sucked
Friendlies were fun, played horrible in doubles (sorry). I really wanted to team with you Thanatoos, we had even matches with Bizkit’s team of all teams.
Got 2 byes so I placed better than many people lolllll. Lost vs. a few people I can win vs. but w/e. I seriously main Marth for Falco’s now, this isn’t happening again, lol.
I had some weird controller issues, but then the black controller worked better anyway…w/e

Runner up was probably Diems table cuz everyone there looked too fresh.

Zucco- I spoke to you a lil after you lost. I you really need to take it what I told you. I'm a ****ing Peach. You kow the **** I go through with this character. Even if I am smarter than the player, they can still get away with alot of crap cause of my character and them whoring people like meta knight. Yet I deal with it. And keep going at it again. And I don't blame my character. I blame the person holding the controller. Which is me. I should have won but did not. Now all I can say is I won't let that happen again. Take names of those that Beat me. And next time I seem them, I'm gonna flip their scrip. Done. And you play lucario? the ultimate come back king? Saying you can't do anything and all this weak talk. Bizkit- Hmm..........I got a lil over confident vs you having too much fun in our set. After I played ally in tourny, the match up for me just open my eyes. And I just became **** Vs snake. Cause that was a poor professional mistake to do. It's alright though. You got this one. Next time I see, get ready to see me on that ruesult screen twice. Screw high tiers and all that camping stuff. **** don't scare with a mid tier. I'm in there. Fun set though. **** I need my glasses back seriously now. I ran into too many mines. You made me realize to not do another smash tourny without them. Time to hit that eye doctor.

Big M- Ugh, ****ing losing to another meta knight when that **** was mines. I know tyhis match up tooooooooooooo well. I tell people to play as gay as hell with meta. To get ready to **** them.. Idk what happen to me at the last min. Guess i choked from nerves. It's cool though, next time, that meta is gonna get his *** whooped hard. Lucky- Nice ROB and fun set. I saw you learned from tommy. So after those 2 games you won, I had to change it up a lil so you would get thrown off. And it worked. You aint the only one that catches up fast. Get at my ike and his epic mindgames.

to TKBro, I played horribly in the first set, I personally know that.

But in the loser's set:
I was badly beating Gunblade the 1st and 2nd match. The only reason why we lost was since you weren't killing J.G. I got a 0-80 vs a Game and watch as Luigi of all characters (you do know Game and watch counters Luigi heavily, right?)

JG had 3 stocks at one point, Gunblade had 1, you had 2 stocks high percent, and I had 2 stocks low percent.

In other words, we had an easy 2nd set, someone messed up, someone.
