Canada being on the world team kinda kills the hype honestly. They are hardly foreigners. They attend our tournament all the time and they speak our language fluently. From talking to them you wouldn't even know they are not American, there is nothing foreign about them.

Pretty sure The World will need Canada if they want a chance at taking this...

Even if it was North America vs the World im pretty sure Team USA wont need any Canadian players so theres little point in keeping them on our team. USA will do fine on its own.

They won't announce it... or at least they shouldn't. Usually teams have to write down their character on a paper just to make sure people don't switch to a secondary to play a specific character. The character choices are still secretive to everyone but the TO until the player actually plays.

I think it's more important that the world be a truly international team than us just throwing players on the team to give them a better chance. Unless we're doing regional crews then we should just leave Canada out of the crew battle. There is a reason why they were separated from the International crew at Genesis.

Shroomed has mad it clear enough that he can't afford to go to this.

Not a troll question or anything, I'm genuinely curious.

It always seemed to me that '[insert region] vs the world'-esque crews would only really be fun if you're part of the defending region. The players on the 'world' crew don't really have any sort of regional pride/whatever at stake since they're just being lumped together with random people from other parts of the globe, and consequently don't really have anything to care about.

Plus looking at the USA team roster, the result sorta seems like a foregone conclusion lol.

Speaking purely from a spectator point of view, I honestly think some sort of regional crews, would be a lot more interesting to watch, but maybe that's just me.
