alt? Like an alternative character?
An alt on the crew battle. Usually there are 8 mains and 2 alts, so you can have a bit more variety when you choose than just the 8 players that will be playing.

Pretty sure I should be an alt.

What we're looking at for World:

Armada
Amsah
KirbyKaze
Unknown522
Kage
RaynEX?
Weon-X?
Overtriforce
Strawhat Dahean
Remen?
Zgetto?
Maybe Ice
Leffen
Javi
Mach Dash
Captain Jack
Tuga and Souten should be on that list.

Awwww yeah this will be hype. I don't think people should be counting out World so easily, especially if you give them Canada. Anything can happen in crews!

Ya but 4 of top 5 in the world are on the USA crew, when Armada is eliminated then it's going to be ridiculous for the world, if anyone thinks otherwise I'd say they are ignorant.

And I'd say you're the typical arrogant ignorant North American SMFH!

Who the **** are they
Tuga is Javi's brother and is the 2nd or 3rd best player in Mexico (IIRC, EX performs better than he does nowadays). Souten is a good Japanese Fox; I haven't heard anything about him attending, but I also haven't been following the Apex roster closely.

i don't really think you can count amsah or ice out like that. sure amsah is eh at the falcon match-up but otherwise he outplaced armada at pound 4.

Is javi good enough to get in the world team? I'm not so sure, but he may yet prove me wrong. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I am that you're not considering isai, especially seeing as you seem to be so confident that you'll win. ;)

We need to know who's coming from Canada. For B.C there's Sion, Diakonos, and Blunted. Then AB has Superboom. Then everything east of Manitoba is like Kage, KK, RaynEX, Unknown522 and maybe someone else.

Yes he sure did. At a tournament that's now almost 2 years old and was a point where PP was barely top 10 if that at all. It's not like things change or anything.

In all seriousness I think what Kage is trying to say is even with as good as Amsah that even M2K would probably beat him because USA's team is THAT good. Which I agree with. It isn't bias either it's just straight up obvious concrete evidence.

People still cite Genesis 1. Just because it's 2+ years old doesn't mean it isn't relevant anymore.

Besides, Pound 5 wasn't even a tournament. It was a smashfest :troll:

Canada being on the world team kinda kills the hype honestly. They are hardly foreigners. They attend our tournament all the time and they speak our language fluently. From talking to them you wouldn't even know they are not American, there is nothing foreign about them.

Speaking of Tuga, I believe he and EX( peach player from Mexico) and should be on the world crew. Also I'm pretty sure Remen is retired (doesn't travel anymore) and I heard amsah say zgetto isn't going anymore, hence why he was looking for a teammate earlier.

World Crew:
Armada
Amsah
Ice
Overtriforce
Strawhat Dahean
Leffen
Captain Jack
Mach Dash(I wish Jeapie was going to make it 2 falcons)
Kage
Kirbykaze
Javi
Tuga
EX

Too much actually, don't know exactly who's going from Canada.

i agree with linguini, it should be split into us regions + europe + canada round robin.
the mexican players can be drafted into other crews i guess if theres only a few of them idk.

Having all of the US united is pretty outragous. but i think things like WC vs Canada or EC vs europe would be way more hype.

Its not called "USA vs the foreigners"...

:phone:
Doesn't matter what it's called. The idea behind it is that USA player are playing against those player who traveled from oversees to compete in this international tournament. Canada kinda ruins that. Theyl have more kinship with U.S players than they'll have with the international players.

Kinda was thinking on a more global/international level, but yeah Canada is the world crew's best chance besides armada, amsah, and the unknown factor that is ice(in terms of his performance on the NTSC version).

Lol I just think it's stupid to consider Canada apart of the world team. Their allegiance is probably greater with U.S. In fact I'd bet if they were in the crew world they'd might sabotage the matches just so that U.S could win. They are not a foreign team.

And won't Canada have enough people to form their own crew like they did at Genesis? I mean we've already seen all of them VS U.S players anyways. It's kinda stupid to put them on the world team.

so you're saying that all the other crews have to split their lives amongst better and worse players while we're giving arguably the best player in the world 20 stocks for himself? dat **** is ridiculous LOL

anyway, to develop the idea of WC vs EC vs South vs Canada vs The Eastern Hemisphere, i made lists. i wasn't sure what to do with the midwest.

i listed 10 people each. i know that this idea probably won't happen, but i'm bored and want to see what it would look like.

i feel like this thread is becoming an off-topic flood of self-gratification and virgin fantasy.

i feel like US gonna win anyway, no hype :/
seriously, someone with power just make it regional round robin. a lot more fair. EC v WC v World

Canada should be involved in this. The US has a bag load of players and with the Canadians, Europe, plus other countries, it will balance out the numbers.
