General question: how long does it take to drive from one side of Virginia to the other? Trying to plan my accomodations :)

this tournament is 1) in Maryland. 2) Virginia has more than 2 sides. 3) use mapquest.

i'll indulge you tho, it can take over 3 hours to get from northern virginia to southern virginia, east west takes probably longer.

Well, I'd be coming from eastern Tennessee so I'd have to go all the way through Virginia to get there...and Mapquest doesn't account for how college aged buys drive :)

I'm going to offer anyone non md/va a 6 dollar money match.
Will accept all offers
6 is my favorite number thats why im doing 6 dollar mms
best of 3
I use either fox falco falcon or marth
Neutral stages only (fd, pokemon stadium, dreamland, yoshis, battlefield, fod)
1 stage ban for first match
after that any neutral counterpick goes
any offers?

and then kiwi, milktea, myself, and any other girls in the area will be instantly turned on and run and tackle that person...it's the axe effect....we cant help it.

axe spray does not work, I have tried it many times and the best I got was some old lady asking me to get something off a top shelf for her at Target...

I should be getting my plane tickets soon but I have a couple questions first. Sorry if its been answered, I didn't read all the posts and couldn't find it on the first page.

We plan to go to the BWI airport Saturday morning so is this public transportation from BWI to UMBC go every x hours? Is it just a bus/shuttle that constantly goes back and forth? Also, I couldn't find the hotel information even though I saw it before... CT is definitely planning on staying at the hotel near the airport/school so is there public transportation from the venue to the hotel or airport? I hope we can check in early morning or late at night... Can anyone confirm when we'd actually have to check in the hotel by or can we do it before the tournament? I don't think we can after 10pm.

If the public transportation becomes a problem, CT might need rides Saturday morning, airport-> venue/hotel. Saturday night, venue->hotel. Sunday morning, hotel->venue and Sunday night venue->airport. But hopefully the public transportation goes around often at all hours of the day.

So far it's just milktea and I but hopefully I convince more to come so I don't have to come alone with her. ^_^
