You know why people don't support Agumon in Smash?
Becouse people don't even know that Agumon was born in games.
They don't even think Digimon have a chance.

Becouse Digimon is VERY popular.
Just remember how much of a Noise Digimon Adventure Tri did when it was revealed for the first time.
The Nostalgia hits super hard for Digimon.

There's plenty of reasons not to support Agumon beyond that one reason.

If you look at the blog entry underneath the new music's blog entry in that KOS-MOS leak, you can see that the date is either still the 8th or the 9th, when surely they would have more entries between now and the 16th.

Also, I don't think people would be able to get access to that stuff on the site, assuming whomever works the site doesn't even upload it until later.

edit: and yup, the flashback is shown to be on the 12th, meaning if we don't get an entry on the 15th, it should at the very least be underneath the music, so they dun goofed.

God, I'd cry. I have a friend whose number one want is KOS-MOS and she's been dreaming of her in Smash almost as long as I've wanted Marina. There's no way but I'm dreaming.

First Thought: Wait What!?

Second Thought: Oh wow, that's a pretty imaginative take on the Zohar Emblem, appreciate the ingenuity.

Third Thought: Excellent Track to Choose

Fourth Thought: It would be pretty easy to doctor the website if you really wanted to, and there's no reason to think the blog-post write-ups would be anything more than a pre-formatted text document to copy paste.

Fifth Thought: Almost certainly fake, but I'm still super happy there are other fans dedicated enough to do stuff like this.

Here's some things Minecraft Steve could bring to the table. He could have the ability to stack, slide, or throw hazardous blocks like TNT at his opponents, and using the huge variety of different blocks in Minecraft, each type could have different effects. He could even possibly cause blocks to fall on top of other players. Tell me one Nintendo character they could add who could do either of those things.

Saw the supposed Wii Fit/Zeracora leak. That would actually be a strangely okay compromise. Inceniroar as a new character with Zeracora as a Lucario echo with electric attacks and no aura. That... Huh... Probably fake but I appreciate that it's a unique angle nobody considered.

Sakurai creating a virtual pet has no effect on Smash.

Tamagotchi existing in an entirely unrelated game also has no effect on Smash.

Which means they also have no effect on a Digimon's chances.

EDIT: Wasn't there a 'leak' awhile back that 'showed' KOS-MOS as the 69th fighter with the smash emblem? Might be the same guy.

Disagreed. Pikachu is still the blatant face of the franchise, and casual fans know Pikachu before they know anyone else at all. He's on the merchandise, he's on every cover for the anime, he got his own detective game (for some reason), etc. Even my grandma knows who the hell Pikachu is, but probably can't even name Squirtle.

It's good to not confuse the hardcore fans who spend significant time on Smashboards with the overwhelmingly larger casual audience to which this game needs to appeal.

Well, in that case good luck with that. I've seen people have trouble making their own fangames, let alone Smash ones, so you'll definitely need to learn coding, first of all, before finding anyone that can help with graphics, music, playtesting 'n such.
