Playing FighterZ makes me realise how cool it would be if Smash got dramatic finishes. What's a dramatic finish? An event triggered by criterias upon the finishing blow (a neutral heavy attack). Say for example you KO Ganondorf with Link - you win, but you are rewarded a nice cutscene of Link killing him, Toon Link stabbing his head, etc. The opposite could also be true for fan service...Ganondorf wins and you see him obtain the Triforce and kill Link.

There would be so many possibilities in Smash for that.

Funnily enough, I think I saw him here (on SB, not this thread), but it could have been a fake. Either way, videos on "leaks" have just been disappointing for a while.

I realized that the protagonist of Fire Emblem Three Houses is this Guy:

I’m worried, aside from Awakening (which has all three characters, albeit two of them echoes) Fire Emblem usually adds the main protagonist. And the protagonist is Byleth, who is the teacher of the other three charcaters (Dimitri, Edelgard, Claude).

Although I do like Byleth, he is another sword wielder, and I think adding him is going to lead to a lot of salt seeing how people don’t want any more FE characters with swords. Not to mention that Sakurai may not even want to include him because of that.

Although we still don’t know everything about the game, I feel that FE: Three Houses may not get a character because of that. Unless Sakurai decided to use the three characters next in line like the aforementioned Edelgard, Dimitiri, and Claude since they all include something unique, which is possible seeing how we did get Robin as a unique fighter because of that as well, so there is a chance we get one of them instead.

he already looks and described boring for Smash, specifically standalone.
unless they're sharing the character rotation gimmick to Byleth/Teacher, i don't see them trying to put Three Houses in priority for DLC

The Axew line was my favorite from Gen 5. They’re just so damn good, and Haxorus is just bad ***. Easily one my favorite Pokémon of all time.

I like how talking about Pokémon of all things has caused less fighting here than fake leaks. Well, it's good anyway.

This is the first I'm hearing of this. I don't recall that ever being a thing.

I mean that's what I'm assuming. They're already pretty strict with Pokemon as a franchise. They use to not allow clothing on Pokemon and never let Pikachu talk, until recently.
BTW I keep forgeting that we're getting our first Hollywood Pokemon Movie next year. Pikapool better be good

Honestly, the biggest thing I hate about Let's Go not letting me evolve my Eevee is I can't make it a Glaceon.

As for match-ups I've always wanted in Smash, that's easy.

Mario and Luigi vs. Wario and Waluigi. Smash will not feel truly complete to me until the day I can make this happen.

I don't get it. I lived through the entirety of the Smash 4 cycle without even cheking the daily things, and just looking at the character reveals,, and I felt completely fine. But with this game I just have a huge need for news, even though the wait time is much, much shorter.

This is EXACTLY me!!

I think part of the reason is that I had very little hope of my characters making it so I had less incentive to be so neurotic about checking for information. That and the fact that the waits were longer meant I didn't expect news to be coming at any particular point like I am now. ayyy this wait feels so long >.>

Sorry, dude. I couldn't help myself, and even I haven't played every game (but I know a lot about them all).

Anyway, as for newcomers, I wasn't too big on Bandana Dee early on, but now, I legitimately want to see him get in. He's basically one of the last main Kirby characters we haven't seen yet, and he would complete the gang. I don't even care about "Sakurai bias" at this point.

That's why i'm getting Pikachu.
I was originally team Eevee but only because I thought I could go through Kanto with an Espeon.
However, since i'm not allowed to have nice things, you can't evolve the starter.
So i'm Team Pikachu now. It's cute I guess, Electric is a cool type anyway.

I don't care what anyone says i'll never rest until Waluigi's in Smash.

Honestly? Assuming you're over 16 years old, it's not worth getting into at this point. It's mostly a nostalgia trip for people. The games are clearly designed for children and are almost absurdly easy for an adult to play.

If you aren't already into Pokemon, don't bother.

Putting not 1, but 2 7th Gen Pokemon is the kind of stuff that would create a lot of rage an dissapointment. Both Lucario and Greninja were poorly received (mostly because it wasn't Mewtwo). Putting Incineroar AND Zeraroa over the bunch of characters people are hoping for would create such salt...
