There have been some interesting speeches like the Tokyo Olympics, video games, aliens, and even the dangers of overeating. We just have the third years left. Sadly, it’s a beautiful day today but we are stuck in the contest hall until 3 pm...

No. Even if Music theory and verg are both legitimate (meaning they are both intended *and* factually correct, not guessing), they dont relate until one actually references the other. That is the definition of a relationship.

Based on the song counts shown in the 8.8 Direct, it seems likely that Game & Watch, Final Fantasy, and Bayonetta did not receive any new songs in Ultimate. (For what that's worth)

Earthbound is also a possibility, sadly, as music rights for Earthbound are uniquely problematic.

I think Altar of the Sun/Moon would be great to represent Alola. Team Rocket Castle would be dope though

Look, I love Sakurai and I love his games as well, but Sakurai bias is totally real. Just look at all the Uprisimg enemies in Smash Run.

That is true, but so do a lot of other games. And some of Uprising guys are pretty generic. I'm looking at you, Underworld Skuttlers.

Technically, it's because Sora Ltd. had direct access to the models from Uprising, so they were easily implementable enemies.

Chrom was by far one of the easiest characters to implement in Smash ever.

Preexisting assets? Check. (Robin's FS from Smash 4)
Popularity in the ballot? Check. (The wave of Mii Fighters he was in was heavily speculated to be influenced by the ballot, and Chrom is recognizable to Smash fans)
Moveset? Check. (Echo)

There is little to no justification as to why Chrom shouldn't be in the game over anything else other than "I don't like having more things". He's the definition of not wasting a "slot".

sakurai literally said he didn't know how to differentiate chrome from ike and marth. and he choose NOT to. chrome being in 4 wouldnt have gone well if he was like this either . we got 3 new FE charatcers and 2 are clones thats lame. thats not a reach at all thats exactly what would have happened

The Mii Fighters have always been seen a Smash reps... They have Smash Logo as their Icon, Their Character Overview Trailer seems to have Original music, and as Sakurai himself said "They're Practicially not even Miis anymore". And we already have the Smash ultimate Theme Up as the Smash Bros Track...

While yes, I'd Expect another song form the Other Section, I don't really expect two...
So a new Franchise Represented is very well possible,
Whether it be Golden Sun, Minecraft, Rhythm Heaven, Or even Something else...

Blame Sakurai and his team for being predictable. It was hardly to anyone's surprise that an Animal Crossing song was coming today, and because it did, it made the music theory that much more believable to everyone else.

Anyways, for the remaining few stages I expect:
1. Minecraft Stage
2. Xenoblade Chronicles X (Elma pls)
3. Battle Royale stage (from Pokemon)
4. Crafted World stage? I'm not confident on this one.
5. PokeFloats 2 (Could be cool if done right!)

I'd replace pokefloats with a tropical freeze stage, it makes sense imo, like our current new stages it's a recent title and Jungle Hijinx got cut, and rumble falls isn't here either (thank god though)

but some people are just more capable of being gullible.
The music theory could turn out to be accurate. It may even turn out to be true (intentional).
But there are just polarities in the smash speculation scene. Or in life.

Is it confirmed that each character will have 8 alts? I honestly don't see the reason to cut any alternate colors even if the number of alts per character is different (due to special alts like Meta Ridley, Crafted Yoshi etc).

It hasn't been confirmed that every character will have 8 alts/palettes, it's an assumption because of Sakurai specifically highlighting 8 alts for Villager and Inkling, and the demo having 8 alts available for everyone. Meta Ridley throws a wrench into this as he wasn't available in the demo while Ridley had 8 palettes available, but it is a common belief that the black Ridley palette that vaguely resembles Meta Ridley is a placeholder and will be replaced by the Meta Ridley alt in the final game.

I've never heard the original, so I can't compare it to anything, but I don't hate it, and that's a very good thing for AC music because I'm going to have to hear this A LOT. **** Smashville.

I agree; no new Earthbound music would be surprising and sad.

However, if such a fate were to happen to a series, it would be Earthbound unfortunately. (Whereas there is no risk of this happening with any other first-party Nintendo content)

I love Sakurai too and I noticed this a lot in Subspace and Kid Icarus Uprising. I'm not sure who came up with the designs, but a lot of the original enemies in those two games just felt like dollar store versions of enemies from other games, especially the subspace ones. The environments had that same feeling too.

I also think the late 2000s thing where every game developer gave their games a dark color palette (Gears of War, Metal Gear Solid 4, Twilight Princess, etc.) did not help in Brawl's case.

Here is hoping that Spirits is more animated. I know they can do it too. Wire Frames, Polygon Fighters, Master Hand, Final Destination, and Battlefield are iconic!
