Refer to my above post. This theory is inconsistent. A FE remix followed Gangplank Galleon for Chrom, who is an echo. Despite this, we got nothing for Daisy or Dark Samus, also echos.

i wouldn't look to bayo to get more music. she has the most licensed music of any other character in the game.

You can't just claim coincidence when it's that convenient. It's a clear inconsistency that can't just be boiled down to coincidence. Otherwise, getting a Splatoon remix a week after E3 was also a coincidence. It's the same timeframe as the FE remix for Chrom.

That doesn't make it inconsistent.
The theory was

"Music for a franchise will not appear on the website until Echo/New Character of the same franchise is in the game"

This was broken by Dark Samus, as she appeared after Metroid Music was on the site. Since Dark Samus is an echo, we can remove echos from the theory.

The theory NOW is
"Music for a franchise will not appear on the website until New Character of the same franchise is in the game."

Chrom appearing before the FE song doesn't change that at all. Nor does Daisy coming before the Mario song either. The theory above is still true until otherwise broken.

What made it so special for today is that Sakurai DELAYED the Animal Crossing song so that it would come out AFTER Isabelle's inclusion. There was no reason for them to do that otherwise. It's not like showing an AC song was going to spoil her inclusion in the game.

If he's MGS2 Raiden, he can. The only issues that come to mind are that he should have the spin kick as jab 3 and the cartwheel as dash attack, and that might be too much for an echo. That and cyborg Raiden is way more popular.

Cause the music theory is based on unique and semi clone newcomers instead of echoes...duh

So now we have music theory seemingly looking legit, which seems to support box theory given that the newcomer pool is drastically reduced in response...

If the theory is indeed right, then that means no more newcomers (excluding echoes) from .

And we know these series have the same amount of music as before, making a newcomer unlikely unless the song list got revamped (which imo is unlikely):

These guys are put in the 'Other' category in the music menu, which also makes a newcomer unlikely:

And that leaves us with the remaining newcomer pool to draw from these series:

On the plus side, that Happy Home Designer remix is banging! I didn't think AC would ever get electric music outside of K. K.

Inkling is a unique newcomer, following along with the theory they'd obviously get their own song. Fire emblem happening to have a song that week could easily just be a coincidence
