Likelihood of unique newcomer based on music theory imo:

1. Pokemon
2. Xenoblade
3. Sonic
4. Kid Icarus
5. Mother
6. Star Fox
7. Punch Out
8. Game & Watch/Wii Fit - not happening as there's no one to choose from.

We have 11 weeks left with 9 veteran series with their own emblem in the music list without a track. If they all get one, that leaves 2 weeks for unrepresented series/new series...also could get a new Mii-related track as well. Plus possibly a Mario Kart track that takes a week,

Getting kind of tight with potentially 0-2 open weeks left for music in the current way it is being handled.

definitely getting unique newcomers (some Pokémon alongside Elma or Rex and Pyra/Mythra) either in the base game of dlc, getting a newcomer can go either way (unique, semi, echo all works out for the two series. Tails, Shadow, Amy, Eggman, Slippy, Peppy, Glass Joe...Mike Tyson), and at the best will get echoes (Viridi/Medusa and Ninten)

If the theory is indeed right, then that means no more newcomers (excluding echoes) from .

And we know these series have the same amount of music as before, making a newcomer unlikely unless the song list got revamped (which imo is unlikely):

These guys are put in the 'Other' category in the music menu, which also makes a newcomer unlikely:

And that leaves us with the remaining newcomer pool to draw from these series:

On the plus side, that Happy Home Designer remix is banging! I didn't think AC would ever get electric music outside of K. K.

I'm starting to doubt if this is a conversation.
I personally feel he does have sources that at least at one point were correct. But I wont pretend that it is fact.

That said, my point is that he may have been correct on what has happened- it does not indicate he is going down the same path moving forward. And an change of argument, even if it is a change in his sources' statement, indicates a level of movement in reliability.

Has Bayo music been confirmed to be the same amount? If so then it could be replaced with a non represented series like Snipper Clips. I mean that could happen at any point so this isn't a good way to reflect future updates, but it works.

I'm not actively predicting a Xenoblade character, but it's interesting they're still safe.

Bayo's Count from Sm4sh to Ultimate has not changed.

I know it is not an option, but I think the opening to the 90s Xmen cartoon would be fun to smash against.
But to be fair, I want a mode where the gameplay changes based on the music. Crescendo makes more stage hazard, and the game ends at the song's finale.

I was arguing how Chrom (it's Chrom, not chrome btw) isn't a waste of a "slot" in Ultimate when someone stating their unpopular opinion said that, in their opinion, adding Chrom was a waste of a "slot". I disagreed and replied stating how Chrom doesn't require many new assets or a unique moveset, making him less wasteful of Ultimate's resources, and that he had some merits of his own to be in the game like popularity. I'm not talking about Smash 4 at all.

I feel good knowing that Klonoa and Duke Nukem possibly have their movie plans in the pipeline, could give them an edge.

Well that's the unfortunate thing about the lack of credible/realistic leaks. We can't really advance the conversation due to how little information the leaks actually gives and we can't divert attention to other leaks (because seriously who is going to believe a 4chan text leak these days). So we're left going around in circles.

Re: Costumes; We're going to get a minimum of 8 per character(cause 8 player-smash). We may get more than that again, but we also may not get only 8 or 16. Melee and Brawl had uneven numbers too. It's been inconsistent for the number, so who knows what'll happen.

Obviously we'd get music from the latest series after showing off a newcomer. But I don't understand the music theory entirely, just that an AC song was blatantly going to happen next. That doesn't require anything elaborate to figure out. Newcomers. They get a little information dedicated to them right away.
