So I'm probably gonna be there, but not gonna enter. So.....board games? So I still think I'm coming to this
But what I really want to know
is
....board games?
So I'm probably gonna be there, but not gonna enter. So I'm probably gonna be there, but not gonna enter. So.....board games?
Uh, that rule didn't ban any infinite. I'm really confused as to why you took it off.@Hylian, I removed it because I mainly feel like if you ban one thing ban another. Ban one infinite ban them all. x'=
Intense Nicholas Cage.So I'm probably gonna be there, but not gonna enter.
So.....Apples to Apples?
I doubt you could chain grab up to 999%, as good as you are, Jordan.Uh, that rule didn't ban any infinite. I'm really confused as to why you took it off.
Well, I guess I'm going to try to cg people till 999% to win heh. That rule is really necessary imo, but whatever. I really think you still don't understand what that rule is saying. It in no way shape or form bans any infinite/combo..anything. It doesn't ban wall locks, it doesn't ban chaingrabs against walls, it doesn't ban anything. It is saying you must kill your opponent by 300% if you infinite them. Going over that % will be considered stalling. It also prevents people from somehow staying under a stage(sonics homing stall for example even though it doesn't really work) where people can't reach them without dying.
As far as planking goes, the no stalling rule has nothing to do with it. Planking is too subjective and is up to the TO. It's either banned or not, if it's banned it's usually easiest to keep track of with a LGL, otherwise you need judges.
Think about this. Since you took that rule off, if I grab someone once I win if I don't drop the cg. While this would make the tournament easier for me I don't really think it's fair in the slightest.
There are people who would try it, and I don't doubt Jordan could do it against whichever character(s) he finds easiest to CG.I doubt you could chain grab up to 999%, as good as you are, Jordan.
This rule is necessary, I agree, but only as a precaution. I don't think someone going over 300% with an infinite is going to happen. Ever.
Honestly, no ones going to try to pull that. But it's a good precaution.
This mentality.Maybe. I might be going Fox this tournament. I kind of got out of the whole "play to win" thing and have been doing that in Starcraft instead. I'm probably going to spend this tournament having fun, embarassing people, or irritating people, or some combination therein.
OS would go Fox and a slew of other characters. Kel probably wouldn't come.if MK was banned who would you go?
same question to Kel
I'm intimidated. :|I hope you guys are ready, because I've been practicing my weekend at bernies dance, ****'s gonna be dope:
If you're confused on what that is -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRBLmogRL4c&feature=related
That's not the point lol it's an example. You dont think as DDD you could CG a character against a wall until 999% without messing up? I think that's pretty easy.I doubt you could chain grab up to 999%, as good as you are, Jordan.
