I like how my AIM and Skype are both visible and I have LE on Facebook but nobody ever just asks me on either chat medium...
I tried sending you a message on aim today when smashboards said you were online, but when I sent it it said you were offline. I also checked FB before I posted. I'll try Skype I guess...

I wouldn't post without making an honest attempt.

Double post, whatever.

I just wanted to say I'm very impressed with the diligence and effort some of you are showing with learning this character lately and taking your self-improvement into your own hands. It's so uplifting, refreshing to watch, and it makes me feel the time I used to donate here and now donate mainly through conversations is a worthwhile investment on my part.

Haven't felt so happy about Melee in a long time. I have a very good feeling about this generation of Sheik players. Keep it up!

More than anything I'm upset we've teamed twice and haven't used the team name "We Love Kirbykaze" or something along those lines.

although Tophokints isn't bad either

KK what are your thoughts on reverse dair from the ledge vs laggier recoveries?

Like how falco does a reverse dair, which catches people because they are trying to DI into the center of the stage. Except with sheik's dair. It should pop them straight up if they're DIing away or down and away, making it so you dont have to cross up the stage to kill them.

Jump off the ledge, then dair while drifting into them so that you are in front of them while dairing, using the hitbox behind the dair to pop them up

Like how Peach uses reverse nair to send Sheik back offstage, or how Falcon reverse knees from the ledge. You're using the hitbox to hit behing you, while facing towards the stage.

Hopefully that explanation doesn't suck.

@ Atma - Reverse dair edgeguard vs onstage lag or anything that's going slightly above the edge (or even around it sometimes) is really good situationally as an edgeguard so long as you can hit the reverse fair when they go up and slightly inwards. Bair and nair often give too much height, and uair sometimes doesn't KO.

In general some manner of bair can setup an offstage fair or an additional bair (or two) so for consistency consider just increasing your proficiency with weak bair into things. For some reason after a lot of Sheiks hit a weak bair, they just freeze up as if they don't know what to do and wait for Falcon or whoever to start their up+B again and risk compromising their edgeguard. He's been hit by a weak move and has X frames before he can protect himself again with whatever; go after him god damn it LOL.
