Guess I just need practice is all ^^;

In other news - oh my goodness, SSFIV players have it SOO much more rough than us lol, my friend is training to get into the competitive scene and i decided to look up a couple things for him. I found out about things like 1 frame links and NO buffer system :O I definitely chose the right fighter to play

And I haven't played the first, but I've played far enough in 1000YD to get the first crystal, really nice game

The thing about Olimar is that you have to change your playstyle at least slightly for every matchup. You can't go into the Peach matchup acting like it's Pikachu. And it's like that for almost every single matchup. Wait until you play a Mario..

<_<

So it's just lack of matchup experience. I use to hate the Lucario matchup and think it was in their favor, until I played Tac and all the other Lucarios around here and learned the matchup.

Wrong thread maybe? Seems a little out of place. But yeah I agree with you. And Mario. ****ing Mario.

But yeah I played like half of Paper Mario TTYD. I played like two hours of Super Paper Mario, but I don't think it's as good. My main complaint is that the partners don't fight with you. But on the other hand you do get to play as Peach and Bowser. Still doesn't make up for it though.

to compliment hilt's thoughts on changing playstyles for a MU, I think olimar does best when he changes playstyles for stages as well. Were the 2nd most stage dependant character in the game, 1st is IC's.

Sooooo...

I was just playing an Ike on wifi, and I have to say

Fino's guide is 100% comprehensive O_o

Lol, basically ANYTHING besides pivot grab or a well timed fsmash got me grabbed, jabbed, naired, or some combination of the three ^v^;
I wasn't trolling. I wrote an 18 page guide on Ike if you really want it. However, I knew that 50% of you wouldn't read it all and considering the average retention level for reading is 10% it would be a waste of time for the other half. As helpful as highlighted good and bad zones on stages, stage control efficiency points, best colors in most situations, priority pyramids, etc.... the goal was to teach the match-up, which is what I did. lol.

G&w's bair?

So easy to handle.
Hold up diagonal into G&W, mash A.

I started playing Paper Mario earlier today. It's fun.
Da bess! ****ing love that game.

Such an incredible game. The second one is good too.
*fixed*

I would have liked KH1 more if the fighting was more fluid

I would have liked KH2 more if it had KH1's controls

But we all know Paper Mario 3DS gunna be the best anyways so who cares about KH?

Better camera control. I HATED KH2's camera with a burning passion

Also, SMRPG is just as amazing as Paper Mario series (and by series, I mean the first two Paper Mario games. Super Paper Mario NEVER HAPPENED, except Mr. L D= ). Though honestly it's hard as hell to pick which one is better x.x

I'd actually be interested in reading that lol, sure I'd have to take some breaks but I'll read anything if it'll help improve my game. Speaking of which...

I seem to have a mental block on how to get down from a platform with Diddy beneath me. Oftentimes nanas make some part impossible to land on, and the entire time he's short hopping aerials beneath me; it seems like the moment i drop my shield to jump or dash off of it he's there with a bair O_O I know I have a lot of things to work on, but this one specifically is the real problem I have with Diddy (I actually have a pretty good handle on bananas, and to whoever said to shield an incoming then shield grab: thank you :chuckle:)

I feel like I've been coming to you guys with more problems lately lol, guess it's because I'm playing more wifi than usual

Aerial dodge into the ground cause diddy likes to throw bananas where you land and (1) if they throw it through you, you catch it or (2) if they aim it right where you want to land, you catch it.

Throwing pikmin is **** against banana... do it ;o
Omg Fino! Hot Dikkings Remix?! I have to try and get off work for this!!!
Yeah! Hot Dikings was one of the better tournament experiences I had - and the TO is cute too ;o too bad she isn't as hot as all the guys who have slept with her.... everyone in st louis people say she is :(

Any reasonable and intelligent Olimar will tell you to just throw things at your problems to make them go away.

I'm gonna lose just so I can get the opportunity now :D And why DIDN'T he - is that the time that Noa beat him?

@Vocal, Practice is good! Just play a lot and ask questions from people here. Surely, they'd help you. Or just come to the GnW boards. Haha.
We've been over this before - you guys are too vanilla to quence my thirst for delinquency :p

Same thing, but with Jane's kidney. Completely unrelated: hey Jane, want to take a trip to Vegas with me? Bring a lot of ice and some gauze if possible

I just got home from seeing Toy Story 3 and I can't STAND how heart warming that ending was; it's like all the cynicism has been sucked from my body. I want to find the cutest thing in a five mile radius and punch it

**** Disney and Pixar, plucking my heart strings like that...

Idk, going into Toy Story 3, I knew it was going to end happily. After all it is a Disney Movie. Every single one of their movies has ended on a positive note.

So IMO, Vocal didn't spoil anything that shouldn't have been obvious.

And yes I teared up during that ending.
