One idea that I had (Which is prolly really stupid/won't work. Especially considering I just looked it up and doesn't accomplish much...) is that I could meet Vocal and we go down from there...? But considering it's almost the same time to Athens for me as it is for him... Doesn't do much for either of us. x_x

The point is to carpool That's why I'm trying to see if any of the NEOH guys are going; they tend to stick together and they sometimes travel for things, so there's a chance they'll be going to this. That tourney on the 24th is run by one of them, if I go I'm gonna try to talk to him about it

Ok, I'm getting outcamped by ROB and it's frustrating me because I know it should be happening! I always know he's going to fire a laser, followed by his gyro, which will disappear only if it hits my shield. Even knowing this, i still don't know how to beat this tactic. If I try to shield the gyro, he just comes in with a dash attack. if i hop to a ledge, he lasers me there, and THEN firest the gyro to limit my options. I feel really dumb right now

Either shield, pshield, or aerial dodge the laser while you're SHDPT. When the gyro comes out you can shield it if you want it to go away or just dodge it / throw a pikmin at it. Remember, pikmin are good shields against other characters projectiles. Rob's laser will go through pikmin, but his gyro will stop short.
If he's shooting the gyro at a range where he can follow up with a dash attack just jump over the gyro and either fair/nair.

You can either retreat with pikmin toss or follow up with an aerial. Do this until you can trick him into a grab and then pop him in the air for some lulz damage ;o

EDIT: you can fsmash gyro out of the way too, you don't necessarily have to block with pikmin toss. You can also try to catch the gyro.
