I really wish I were better vs falcons though.
All of my matchup use below marth on the tier list is solely off of my theory put into action (oh and mario/doc I guess just because I mained them).
Dunno how I beast on peaches so hard though

If everyone stopped talking about theory and just focused on hitting their opponent we would all be much better by now. I would know because I fell into the same trap many times.

it's hard to judge. if you go by super THEORY bros then fox probably wins cause he's perfect fox.
but if we're going by super smash bros where people do mess up and nerves happen and such, then it leans towards falco. falcos combos are without a doubt easier than foxes. by easier i mean shine/utilt to dair combos, which are incredibly easy. foxes combos are all very fragile and precise agaisnt falco. i gurantee you'll mess up fox combos more than as falco.

i think fox wins. cause he's a better character.
i think he does need platforms though. even though his cg is pretty beast on fd, i feel like platforms benefit fox a lot.

i'm just a ganon main lolz.
but i think fox wins for the same reasons he's a better character. speed and the power of one grab or one shine for a knockdown really gives fox some strong ground to work with. i contend that fox combo's are better because they are decision dependent, and with the right dash dancing and reaction, i think it's pretty easy to follow decisions than it is for falco to follow good DI.

I main Fox and I guarantee that anyone would mess up in an intense battle while using him against Falco - although I like fighting Falco. He is easier to fight. I say they are even, but it is obvious that Fox has more potential.

Fox is fast, Falco is slow. Fox counters Falco's approaches and ***** his pressure holes, Falco can only WD OOS/roll to avoid Fox's pressure. Foxes that can jump/WD OOS between lasers make it easy to "countercontrol" Falco, and that's without platform camping that ***** him. CGs are more guaranteed than death combos on FD so that stage sucks. I don't think Falco wins on any stage vs Fox except maybe BF because the platforms seem more conducive to combos there(FoD maybe but that stage is super weird). Fox gets easier/better combos from grabs and shines than Falco does, with the addition of gimping potential at any time. Fox edgeguards Falco better than Falco edgeguards Fox, and Fox's recovery is just naturally better.
There's more but I'm not in the mood.

i think its a 60-60 matchup example. It can be really hard for either character.

fox also has better priority and more autocombos and is generally better at putting the opponent at a disadvantageous situation basically whenever he wants. fox also doesn't have to rely on shield pressure working to get what he wants, he can just go do whatever and get away with it. for example, falco can't really do anything about fox's bair in any way. fox can just bair falco's pressure/defensive holes and the match becomes really one-sided. really falco just has to hardcore outplay fox to have a chance at winning the match at all.

fox and falco have the same priority, with falco having slightly more range on his utilt. as fas as bair goes, i would say both characters can bair through the other's stuff. Its true in almost every matchup.

na, yall are crazy, Falco ***** everyone, especially Fox.
and unless we assume that everything other than KDJ vs. PC @ vegas was a case of Falco players being generally way better than Fox players, history is on my side (with regards to Fox, lol).

I think the Falco needs to be more comfortable in the match up than the Fox, but it's still relatively even. The Fox can just default to up throw combos and do relatively well, but Falco has to avoid getting grabbed while also applying pressure without dropping combos.

Lasering well is really important vs Fox/Falcon. I suck at it though.

i was playing devil's advocate to poke at kevin yielding no concessions in falco's favor pretty much ever. i think falco beats fox, and is a better character (both independently).
falco is a manufactured **** machine with what is pretty obviously the best offense and to treat him otherwise strikes me as silly.

at first i read this and as like 0_o
then i read this and lol'd. ya PP seems to think falco straight up loses every matchup within the top 8 sans falcon lol
this is what i've been saying for ages and made this exact argument a few weeks ago.
Falco players have always been better than fox players since forever. whether thats due mostly to falco being totally amazing or just coincidence, i can't decide (but the logical man in me wants to assume its the former)
I flip flop on who wins the matchup every time i play cuz they both do some homo **** to the other.

I think Shiz's Fox would lose virtually every set to his Falco if they ever could play it but w/e.
