You are mostly know for your diddy and when it seems down to a hardcore fight you would whip him out MORE than your others. But if that is the case then you would be confusing since you dont have a main, and go random in tournament. You usually dont stay one character for like 2-3 games in a row. I gave you diddy cause dispite what you say, you are known for that character the most.

I'm known for him but the the last month in tourneys i only used him once at most 3 times. Last week like thrice. Week before only once. I dont rely on him. But yea. PPl think i main him but whatever. Have fun banning FD everyone cause i most likely wont even use the char u banned it for LOL.

As Choas Marth said, let the tournament results do the talking. For your tournament record its mostly diddy. If you keep placing high with others then you be known for them as well. This list was Base on tournament results with the players and thier characters that do well in tournaments from people in N.Y. Step that game up with others in tournaments if you wanna get known within the state as them too.

I got 4th last week. 5th at inuis and 7th at CH4. The only tourney i went all diddy was Esticle.....which was prolly the one that ppl counted the most >_<..wait i didnt go all diddy. I used rob :-P.

And umm you guys are ridiculous with the whole wanting wavedashing and L-cancelling in brawl. No tripping is fine enough because it takes out an annoyance. It doesn't add any extra depth nor does it take away much. Messing with the game too much is just stupid. That's like saying we should add parrying to the game like in 3rd strike or Cancelling for "better combos"

Eli, I've tried the code, and silven would have a ****ing field day with you because the only 2 people with broken air dodges/wavedashes are Ike and Rob. Rob can't move and Ike has an infinite controllable air dodge as long as you input an action within 1.5 seconds after his air dodge comes out, which means he can do things like air dodge stall off stage for however long he needs to then throw aether if it comes down to it. If he throws an aerial after the air dodge, well he doesnt get the falling animation whatsoever. It was nice to screw around with but in a game where people like meta knight exist do you really wanna be a sitting duck after an air dodge?

Yea... I gotta say that everyone should try the shield-cancelling code. I really can't find anything wrong with it... in fact it makes some characters like Link and Ganon have more of a chance. Meta is pretty much the same cuz he doesn't actually need it. Snake is a bit better but so are a lot of other characters.

All this means is that you're able to shield during landing animations. I don't see a reason that this shouldn't be used.

It doesn't matter how fun it is or how good it made certain characters. It doesn't matter if it made the game any more deep. You're changing the GAME mechanics....you just don't do that. No tripping is an exception because it is an annoyance put there solely for the purpose of deterring competitive play. Sakurai said it himself. Wisen up already and stop trying to change Brawl. Dam stubborn people these days...

Put it like this, regardless if I tried the code or not and regardless of whether or not I thought it was amazing. I would never standardize it in tournament play. It's just not right...you don't play a tournament fighter with haywire mods that affect the gameplay. Seriously dude, get over it. Brawl is Brawl, let it be...

Also, anyone who doesn't have the Homebrew Channel on their Wii by tomorrow don't worry about it. Ninjalink will install it for you and start Brawl with the no tripping code on. If you have a Zelda Twilight Princess save file please back it up on your own SD cards..if you can't do that I'll do it for you.

Well people should TRY it... how about that? It doesn't change the game in ANY way other than to make it more balanced and fun. There's no brokenness involved.

It makes a lot of the not-so-good characters and the straight up just USELESS characters usable and decent.

It makes the broken characters stay the freaking same. They can't utilize it cuz they don't need to in any way.

But instead of this discussion between a person who actually tried it and played with it a lot (me) and a person who hasn't and is judging based on a fixed point of view about fighting games (silven)... how about you guys TRY it first.

This code is too good. especially with Ike. Dair to Aether combos , Dair to Uair combos, Nair juggles, and so much more. This makes Ike much better than without it.

Edit: This also makes a lot more feasible to fight against Meta-Knight.

It Does not make much of a difference because Snake doesn't use aerials much.
He can't use air attacks to perform shield breaker combos even with this code on.

To be clear, I like this code but I don't want it in tournaments now.

They fixed the SSBM Air Dodge code so that ROB won't freeze the game.

Yea Snake wouldn't be the same. Big deal. He's not dramatically better. He's just a little better.

It's not like Snake can't get the **** kicked out of him by a variety of characters anyway. Only now he'll be a bit better but GUESS WHAT!?!? So will some other characters.
