MJ was one of childhood heros, I loved everything about him. His music changed me forever not to mention he composed some of the music for the Sonic games which makes him even more of a hero in my eyes.

I love you Michael RIP :(

I am still in shock that hes gone.:(

I never was a huge fan, but I liked his music, and I knew how massive the impact he made in the music community was. R.I.P Michael. You did have some faults, but you definitely didn't deserve this.

Who wants to bet this becomes as big of a deal as Elvis's death?

I am surprised there hasn't been any serious hate remarks towards MJ in this thread. My faith in society just went up a little bit.

He did have his flaws, the child abuse scandal(which he was proven innocent) and I still believe it was more than a skin disease(*cough*plastic surgery) , that made his looks change, but he is still a legend and by no means deserve this.

>_> Are you serious? It's obvious that Micheal Jackson had plastic surgery....and I don't think it's a secret.
But anyways, R.I.P Micheal Jackson =( I really like some of your early songs.

****, I can't believe he's dead still. I was having an awesome day, just game back from watching Transformers 2, then I'm on the Q6 (bus) and word spreads that he died -_-

I remember I used to bop my head as a child to his music, RIP Michael Jackson, the King of Pop.

My Moonwalk will never be as smooth again.

I'm gonna chuck on Thriller and relearn his moves again.

RIP MJ.

LOL he wasn't proven innocent: a jury came to a decision that they believed he was innocent. I mean by that means no one has received the wrong verdict or possibly had their status affect the outcome of a trial (*ahem* OJ) but really it doesn't matter now anyway what we believe happened.

I think there's been no hateful comments because despite some people (myself included) not liking Michael Jackson we're still decent enough human beings to understand any death is saddening and it can't be nice for his friends, family and fans

Clearly was plastic surgery but I also heard he went through with the plastic surgery because of a stage accident or what have you lol.

Then again it was pretty white guys who got chicks back then so he probably felt like he needed to change how he looked.

In any case his child hood wasn't exactly the best one he had a lot of emotional problems.

edit: he was found not guilty of all charges... There's no other way of putting it.. clearly the evidence against him wasn't strong enough.

Anyways, I find it sad that he just died out of the blue while finally starting to get himself back together.

RIP MJ

So sad that happened:( He probably wasn't the most respectable of people or the smartest at that, but his music cannot be denied.

I wonder if he will be dancing in the next Thriller :ohwell:

was his color change disease eventually fatal?
:/

idk.
The unexpected happen... :(
Totally unexpected...
He had Vitiligo, I'm pretty sure it's not a fatal disease. But there's a lot of rumors going around right now about what exactly caused his death. I guess the world will find out after the autopsy.

Regardless, RIP Michael Jackson, The King of Pop.

No matter the controversy, he still entertained millions with his music, a legend in the eyes of many.

So long, Mike.

There should be. I mean, he was the ****ing KING of Pop. I was shocked when I heard the news.

Like multiple others have said, he seemed immortal in my eyes, one who would stick around forever.

This proves he was only human after all.

I bet Farrah Fawcett is pissed MJ stole her thunder.

Would it be tactless to sing a Michael Jackson song at Idol auditions tomorrow?

Michael Jackson was this generation's Elvis. No matter how creepy he was offstage, he will be missed.

I haven't stopped hearing about this since I last got into the car. We listened to the reports all the way home. It's getting annoying, but it's still sad. :(

I remember when I first heard "Thriller." I was about nine or ten years old. My dad showed me the music video for the song. I was amazed. It quickly became my favorite song.

Funnily enough, this was around the time the news was covering the scandal.

Still, he put out many classics in his lifetime.

Beat It.

ABC.

Thriller.

Smooth Criminal.

I Want You Back.

Is this the like largest collection of people who seriously think MJ didn't touch those kids?

Amazing artist, but um, he wasn't exactly making any more new music to look forward to and I thought most of the sane population lawl'd at him.
Thank God... another person who's not overblowing this. At least people here are smart enough not to be making assinine comments "ZoMg, hE cHaNGeD dA WuRlD wIf HeZ mUzAk" like on Youtube. Great performer and musician in his prime but seemed to get crazier and crazier and more full of himself as the years went on. His fans should be happy that he'll no longer face scorn but they should probably prepare themselves for the things that will no doubt be revealed in the next couple of weeks.

On a slightly related note, I'm more sad about Ed McMahon dying yesterday. Oh and, Falcon... *salutes and walks off*

MJ: leaves this world as a white woman accused of pedophilia.

Ed Mcmahon: leaves this world as the rapping Cash4Gold spokesman (broke).

David Carridine: leaves this world hanging naked with a rope tied to his neck and balls.

CAN ANY CELEBRITY DIE WITH SOME DIGNITY THESE DAYS?

if theres was ever a celebrity who would fake his own death, it would be michael jackson. the dude thought he was peter pan for ****s sake.

i'd say theres a 50/50 chance that MJ, andy kauffman and tupac are playing poker in neverland as we speak.

While I was never a huge fan of MJ, and wasn't around when he was big, I know he was a huge part of many people's childhoods and memories. RIP Mr. Jackson. Oh and RIP to Farrah and Ed...3 in just two days, shocking!

i was terribly shocked that he pass away....from a cardiac arrest (whatever that is). i like his music ever since Thriller first came on when i was a boy (i was scared of the ending...)

now i HAVE to play Beat it on expert in guitar hero
Cardiac arrest is basically the same thing as saying his heart stopped beating suddenly.
