Never really cared for him or his music. Meh.

This is really sad.

Anyone no matter what genre of music they prefer, likes at least 1 MJ song.

I am a die hard metal fan but MJ was the balls.

RIP Michael you were the greatest dancer/singer of all time.
lol.

Why do you have Dimebag in your avatar?

Quote from a friend of mine that sums up my feelings for this MJ phenom.

"In all seriousness, it's very sad that Michael Jackson is dead, it is my utmost hope that he died a peaceful death, I was not a fan, but it's always sad to see a respected pop icon such as Jackson pass away. May he rest in peace wherever he ends up, and may we all remember the good aspects of his life rather than the not so good moments. RIP MJ.

On another serious note though, don't pretend like you never made Michael Jackson jokes while he was alive. Don't pretend you had him on some pedestal like a holy figure. Don't pretend that he was sacred ground to you before today, and bear in mind that 75% of the people mourning about his death are either too young to remember an MJ worth mourning over, or just as guilty as anyone else of treating him like **** while he was alive. Don't be fake, pay your respects and leave it at that."

I used to tape his videos off MTV when I was a kid.
I watched his trial like every day.
I drunkenly punched a guy lastnight who made a joke at his expense,it was terrible and really harsh.

But I think,
although he was a star in the sky Michael Jackson was never really happy in his life.
Rest in peace!

I have this tape with Michael Jackson's concert in Bucharest that I've had since I was 3, it's the best concert ever and it still gives me goosebumps today. There's another one that I had and lent out but I never got it back, and a Michael Jackson special I didn't get back either.

The MJ jokes were never funny to me either, the whole "MJ is the first black man to die a white woman" thing and the other rumors were never funny to me.

MJ jokes made me smirk; like most of them were bad, like in every sense of the word. I just happen to ignore him, MJ is one of the few entertainers who I respected a great deal, he did have A LOT of psychological problems but given how messed up his childhood was it isn't to surprising.

Is this the like largest collection of people who seriously think MJ didn't touch those kids?

Amazing artist, but um, he wasn't exactly making any more new music to look forward to and I thought most of the sane population lawl'd at him.
...Not to sound cold hearted, but I'm with this guy. Since the 90s, everyone's hated this guy. Now that he's dead, it's a ****ing tragedy.

What is this, since he's dead all thems kiddies he toucheded don't matter? The ****?

It just strikes me as odd, is all. Walking around the city, everyone was dancing to Jackson music. TV was showing clips of mourning fans -- most of them too young to remember when he was black -- and everyone's saying how much of a legend he was. The man was a child molester!

And frankly, I think he death probably put him out of his misery. He can't have been a happy guy. He looked like just walking was a chore for him.

Yeah, his early music was catchy and creative. I can dig that. But you all seem to be forgetting that this guy was hardly a ****ing saint. Death happens. More important people have died and gotten much less attention than this.

It's absurd.

I try and avoid celebrity news, yeah. If this is about im never being found guilty way back in the day, I've always suspected his enourmous wealth and celebrity-status may have swayed the final verdict. Look how long it took to get Phil Specter.

Assuming it's not that I missed, what happened on the news?

I don't think this is the place to discuss whether or not Michael Jackson was guilty of molesting those boys, it's not like we can make a meaning discussion out of it anyway.

Because it's not really anything you can discuss about it. He was falsely accused and thankfully he won.

In any case the man died with more fans then haters so it's all good.

I am hearing that the doctor that was to treat MJ after his heart attack immediately hired a lawyer, which is pretty wise considering that idiots will try to blame him for failure to save MJ. But when a person's time is up, it is up. He may have been a celebrity, but every human life has the same value. I can imagine it is tough when you deal with popular people, but that is another story,

As far as MJ jokes, they aren't funny at all, and I can already foresee a plethora of them from now.

I find it ironic that many people who were previously haters before his death, now love Michael Jackson, realizing he's potentially innocent and that he can't be replaced. Ever.

He had an absurd, undeniable amount of sheer talent, and basically created famous pop music.

He was eccentric, which is exactly why people chose to bash him and accuse him of molesting children, something I can't personally see the King of Pop doing. I was watching the B.E.T. awards, and Jamie Foxx did a tribute to him and moonwalked across the stage.

Michael Jackson was a legend. It was really sad to see his career go to shambles like that because of the accusations and mental strain he suffered from the negative attention people so unrelentlessly showed.

Now that he and so many other famous people have died during the two weeks that have passed, maybe people are feeling sorry for someone who endured a lot of hardship and isolation prior to his death.

Thriller all day.

The saddest part of it all was the fact that he was working so hard to make his comeback shows incredible.

It would have rejuvenated his career.

Even the amount of DVD'S sold from those gigs would be unreal.

Well duh, everyone gets popular when they die.

I mean Jade Goody of all people too. From "Slag Jade", "Cow Jade" "Racist Jade", "Chav Queen Jade" to stuff like "Role Model Jade", "Brave Jade", and "Angel Jade".

All you need to do is follow one cardinal rule. Don't follow the ****ing press, and definitely don't follow popular opinion.

I heard [on the radio, didn't get the source] that MJ wasn't really in that good a shape when he died, they said he weighed 113 lbs, and was only eating once a day.

There's no doubt that MJ was not as strong as he was in his prime, even back in 2005 when he made his court appearances he didn't look 100%, it was only a matter of time.

Michael Jackson was 112 lbs and had no hair at the time of his death.
Is this really fit to perform a full out tour? I don't think so, I think he seriously meant it when he said (in that press conference) "this is the last time I will be performing."

He sure wasn't a fit 50-year old, that's for sure.

I've heard these as well. I've also came across information that he was heavily relying on pain killers to keep himself through.

He just wasn't naturally fit, is all.

His songs were pretty much my favorite. It's a shame he's not going to be producing any more.

His dancing will be missed. A friend of mine said he had "superior moving skills" XD
