Marth's still pretty good at edgeguarding Peach...

If they've no choice but to come in low, as is already said, Marth can keep her low and limited via D Tilt and non tipper F Air (if you're feeling saucy) and stuff that generally puts her in a terrible position so she can't get any height.

If it's on high, Marth can rack a good chunk damage through B Air ad nauseum. There's also always the threat of tipper F Smash/D Air if they **** up and then that's death. The issue comes from when Marth's get all overzealous and throw themselves out there over and over for a couple %. Really, they should recognise when Peach's got enough loft that the risk/reward's not in their favour to persue and then just wait around looking for that U Tilt on stage. Kills early and Peach can't do jack about getting round it except for try to trick you with parasol/float tricks, she sure as hell isn't outranging it.

But yeah, Falco and stuff can just laser the **** out of her and D/B Air for funzies.

I'm not really sure about that. Always thought it would be nice to see what some people can do with low tiers with actual metagame and so.
But people like Vman,Axe or MoFo tend to be very rare nowadays...

That's why I wrote "some kids from Europe". My Father is an immigrant from Germany and I have gone to Europe several times so I know the majority of Europeans are cool. It's just that there are little **** heads in every nation and the ones that are in Europe tend to think it's cool to hate North America, particularly the United States.

Is it me or is puff starting to lower in tourney dominance. Armada's young link was able to shut down hungrybox's puff in 2 major tourneys. Also, Mango doesn't use puff anymore and plays Falco a lot now.

Well, is puff still dominant in tournaments? As far as I saw, It looked like it decreased, but I could be wrong.

Puff has no good reason to drop on the tier list unless something really crazy happens in the near future.

Hungrybox is still showing how dominant puff can be. Hungrybox has honestly not really slipped that much.

Who has beaten Hbox in tournament that would make us think Puff isn't deserving of her place?

People who have beaten Hbox this year:

Lovage (could be wrong about this) [Fox]
Dr. PP [Falco]
Armada [Y. Link]

So we basically have top Fox and Falco players, and one of the best players in the world playing his counter to jiggs.

Fly Amanita's Ice Climbers have also beaten Hbox, but I really don't see the argument for "Oh, Puff isn't winning anymore, guess she's worse" when tournament results are more influenced by player skill among the top 8 characters than character choice.

Do ice climbers have an advantage against puff or is it even? Cuz I've heard both positions argued for recently when I've always in the past just assumed puff had the advantage.

Well since there are only two top level Ice Climbers [in NTSC], Wobbles and Fly Amanita, and Fly isn't afraid to play super gay against Puff I'd say it's fairly common to see that play style.

if they continued after they quit, i'm sure they would've adapted. they're mad smart players.

most characters' trends in playstyles have grown to more conservative ones now, save perhaps spacies.

Can you explain it to me, please ? For the small amount of ICs I've played (e.g Smasher89 and Daümling at BEAST2) I didn't feel like it was to their advantage at all.
