Ally's a ****ing douche.

Lain's ridiculously cool. Like OMG soo coool...

It's funny really, I always respected Lain as a player but expected him to be kind of a 'tard (mainly because he's a massive showoff on the Icies boards), and I am sure Luke expected the opposite of Ally. It's been really interesting meeting all the pros.

lol hylian was the worst of them all imo, so fail, me and ted have some funny stories to tell, and M2K is wierd and has no social skills, its creepy

tbh I think M2K's okay. He appears serious/creepy a lot but I've caught him being social and laughing and such from time to time. I think he just has trouble opening up to people.

playing brawl is all about meeting the people you play imo (you get people & personalities from all kinds of the spectrum)

Um, that wasn't me. I didn't quit out of a single match at genesis >_>. I don't ever get upset when playing, I laugh a lot.

Luigi's n-air is less powerful in PAL.

DI on Sheik's d-throw has been changed so that it can no longer chain in PAL.
Fox can tech out of Falco’s d-throw in PAL.
Bowser's d-throw hits Mr. Game and Watch in PAL.
Link's super jump glitch was removed in PAL.
Samus's extended grapple beam was removed in PAL.
The IC freeze glitch was removed in PAL.
The Japanese language option was dropped in PAL in favor of Italian, French, Spanish and German. Jigglypuff also sings (Up+B) her name in the language Smash is set to.
Names can now include upper and lower case letters, but there is no Japanese character set.
In the English language setting, distances are measured in meters.
Lag and loading times have been reduced in PAL.
The Special Movie was removed in PAL.

The differences between the three NTSC versions are changes such as increasing the length of HRC track from ~4.4k ft to 11347.2 ft and removing some glitches- notably, Bowser's Flame Cancel glitch and Link and Young Link's Super Jump glitch were removed from 1.0 to 1.2.

Yeah dude, Melee had WAY more hype than Brawl, the first day of singles people filled over half the venue watching Melee on the projector, the second day they filled half the venue with seats for it but loads of people still had to stand. When Melee was done and they were doing Brawl hardly anyone at all sat down to watch lol, maybe 30 people at most. xP

Anyway, it's true that there aren't many differences, but the changes DO shuffle the top/high tiers significantly and there's lots of cool **** (Freeze Glitch, Extender Grapple, etc.) you can do in NTSC. It's just a personal preference tbh, there's nothing wrong with PAL, Melee in general is awesome. <3
