I will. No rush in getting a 3DS at launch anyways. Still happy with my DS Lite.Nintendo has no plans yet for a 3DS Lite as confirmed by Nintendo heads. Have fun waiting a few years.
That's what they all say, right? It's a classic business move. Why announce you'll be making a 3DS lite? That would only bring incentive for people to wait.Nintendo has no plans yet for a 3DS Lite as confirmed by Nintendo heads. Have fun waiting a few years.
Where did you get to demo it?I just got to demo it like an hour ago.
Mind is blown, it really is hard to describe it, so everyone go and get your hands on one it's amazing!
Our equivalent of Gamestop. I was actually really surprised they had an actual 3DS, I just asked about a preorder and he just slapped one in my hand to try out lol.Where did you get to demo it?
The technology is anything but cheap. The 3D effects are fantastic, and have the subtlety and wow factor of Avatar (although obviously it's hard to compare to Pandora, but I'm talking about the tech). I played a relatively simple tech demo with boxes, targets, and a dragon (lol), but it was really really really nice, I just can't stress that enough. What excites me is how if something so simple can look and feel so good, imagine what a proper game would be like. Seriously, in terms of immersion and blowing your mind, 3DS walks all over Wii and motion controls.I'm just more interested in how it runs. I'm so skeptical on such cheap 3D, but if it works well the 3DS has an excellent price tag...
I want one now but the launch list sucks.
this is exciting. how was the "viewing window"? by which I mean, how strict was the angle you hold the 3DS at for the effect to work? Our equivalent of Gamestop. I was actually really surprised they had an actual 3DS, I just asked about a preorder and he just slapped one in my hand to try out lol.

But it's hard to swallow if someone's telling you that, I know because I wasn't 100% convinced of the praise it was getting from the press, so I suggest you get your hands on one and try it, because really the simple demo on its own will convince you that this is something special. Makes up for the Wii's shortcomings imo hahaha.
This is what I'm most curious about, too. I tend to move a lot when I play a hand held console.this is exciting. how was the "viewing window"? by which I mean, how strict was the angle you hold the 3DS at for the effect to work?
I have to admit it was a wee bit strict, moreso than I would have liked. I dunno, maybe it's becaus it was my first time with the thing, I hadn't really calbrated it for myself, and I was leaning over a store counter with a little kid grabbing onto my shoulder lol (inb4youenjoyedthat), but yeah it certainly wasn't a dealbreaker or really bad or anything, but from the optimum point, it gave leeway of a bit over an inch each way. So it seemed.this is exciting. how was the "viewing window"? by which I mean, how strict was the angle you hold the 3DS at for the effect to work?
Sadly not, but Pikmin seems like a game they would do for the 3DS. I (sadly) haven't played the first 2, but if it does come out for the 3DS then it'll be at the top of my list.Neither WILL be out at launch. As for Pikmin, they're not even working on it; don't get your hopes up.

This is really sad. If you're going to have a release, maybe garnish the platter with a couple more of your own first party titles instead of trying to make money off the purchase of the console.First-Party:
