do you still play marth (brawl)? you need to teach me to be better at this. i'm feeling a sudden increase in my performance since this summer i'm moving out to holden which is about a half hour from where the mages live...

but seriously, i do think moving out there will make me better cause right now it can't get much worse than having attended 1 brawl tournament, playing online and playing a single scrub offline (who likes to main falcon) since game's release. fail.

so yeah, any marth advice/practice and i'm willing to take it at this event. lol.

You overcomplicated your explanation on the front page and didn't say when the voting ends. Take away the example and just say vote for 2 events (Melee singles, Brawl singles, Melee doubles, Melee singles). There is a reason a lot of people are confused. Too much writing for a simple concept.

ex; Melee Singles and Brawl Doubles are what are demanded most. There will be both of those events.
I will then count how much votes there are for Melee Doubles and Brawl Singles. Whichever has the most will be the 3rd event. Say Melee Doubles has the most votes. That means there will be Melee Singles, Melee Doubles, and Brawl Doubles.

What pisses me off/ confuses me is that when there is both WAY more people enter the brawl events than the melee.

Mass madness 12 = Brawl single had 65 entrants. Melee singles had 33.
I am assuming the larger majority of brawl players have stopped paying enough attention to Mass Madness to actually vote since it is so Melee biased.

What happened to a simple switch off each event? It wouldn't even have to be all one or the other.

example: Month 1 = Melee singles and Brawl doubles
Month 2 = Brawl Singles and Melee doubles.
etc...

Melee players from out of state are more willing to come to a melee only event, so we usually get a bigger turnout than when it's brawl + melee. Not that I'm opposed to having both, just 33 isn't an accurate number.

Can someone explain the smash bus? Isn't there a limited amount of space, and people who take it will be paying for it anyways? So why do we need to raise money for it?

(I'll enter it though if it's low tier + solo ice climber.)
