No. It's the other way around. Falcon was so gay, he stole all of Ganon's manliness and claimed it for himself.

i believe its the other way around. it all explains why he wasnt in 64(while 64 was made he was still trying to duplicate falcons moveset)

How many frames does it take for Ganon to leave the ground when jumping?
I couldn't find it in the guide.

Excellent guide, it's been a very helpful source for quick info.

Hai Ganon forums! I'm LoDRK and I'm the Lord of Darkness, nice to meet all of you! (I figured I'd tack this on to my first post rather than create a thread for it). I'm looking forward to these epic ganon dittos along with this MK breakfast I've heard so much about.

Why does everyone always overestimate Meta Knight, and underestimate Ganon all the time?

In the hands of most, tier doesn't matter at all. Why? Because in the hands of "Tier firsts" players, they make every character they use, expecially MK, suck more crap than a porto-jon cleaner.

Tell me, am I right or not?

(I'm just basing off of my own experiance and statistic veiw of study from my past matches...
...I'll be sure to think twice once I brawl online.)

Now don't get me wrong, Meta Knight is pretty cool, but it's the fatc that he's a topped ranked Tier in Brawl, like Falcom is in Melee. Therefore since they're topped ranked, there are too many of them because of their supposed "high stats", and because of that, most of those players just blindly use MK and think they can win...Sad really...
The fact of the matter is that MK's attacks are fast, but the catch is that they don't deal so much damage and MK can't recover too quickly when someone simply blocks those attacks, leaving MK open; Especially since Ganon's attacks are over powering, thus making Ganon an excellent choicve to simply charge MK.

Personally, I use Sonic as my main, and Sonic's speed cuts through MK's attacks like a hot knife through butter. However I use Ganon as my second, and Ganon's strength rules over the lousy "high tiers"...

...I could go on about one of my few hundred rants, but I'm trying not to do it... ^^;

I recommend you fight some decent players online before you "rant" anymore. The biggest problem in your post was saying that MK can't recover from his attacks being blocked. That shows you have not played a very good MK. What if the MK jumps and does a Dair at the same time? Even if you block it, he'll be too far above you for you to punish him. This is one of many things that makes MK very hard to punish.

Welcome to the board, BTW.

If you think MK is hard to beat in Brawl... Play Brawl+. He's practically UNSTOPPABLE in there... And also my B+ main besides Ganondorf and Charizard. :3

I thought Metaknight was nerfed to hell in Brawl+..
He takes more knockback (effectively making him the lightest, I believe), but all the other mechanics, including hitstun, lag reduction, no automatically sweetspotting and no stale moves means he can combo you zero to death and hehas a CHAINGRAB with his forward throw on some characters (I **** you not)... He's insane.

Yeah, it's possible, but we'll need the EXACT same codes. We'll also need to remove the buffer codes to make it easier to cope with the lag. But it's definitely possible, and seems quite fun : D

Aw yeah, you got it. Okay, I use the Plussery codeset, but I removed the buffer codes on this one to optimalize online play. I also removed the momentum codes, since they don't correctly, they only give you momentum when jumping to the left. XD

So just copy-paste the following onto a .txt file:

Holy-!

WAIT WAIT WAIT,

FD, do the comments in that code imply that you can disable the fact of C-stick inputs causing fast fall?

... that.... crap. The way I understand C-sticking, that is a nonmodular property of it; i.e., something that could not be disabled without rebuilding the whole C-stick subroutine from the ground up.

Also, the pokemon trainer no-switch mod you've subscribed to is just scrubby. :ohwell:

Yeah, pressing down on the C-stick no longer makes you fastfall. Dunno HOW they did it - but they just did.

I also totally didn't understand that last sentence. Subscribing to a code is impressive (read: impossible) and calling it a mod is sort of weird... Then saying it's a scrub (meaning, it's PLAYING the game itself) is just beyond me. Then after forming such an incoherent sentence, you just shrug it off with a 'oh well' smiley.

It was pretty awesome.

Huh? By 'subscribe' I meant "Picking it up as part of your Brawlplus modification set, from the 'market' of mods people have produced", and by "mod" I mean... modification. Which this is. What the hell are you calling it?

And by 'scrub', I mean scrub. Turning the game into something it's not is the definition of scrub. The Brawlplusery project is all well and good with exploring an alternative game, but making PT "no-forced-switch" is... a change to what that character is. It seems to be going too far, even for what the plussery is all about.

Anyway, if you can turn off C-stick fastfall... that.... forces me to believe I'm wrong about how I understand C-sticking. Which makes wavebouncing and pretty much every tech in regards to it mysterious again.
.... so wTF?

Possible new combo?

Dthrow, gerudo, Dtilt, Uair, chase off stage, Dair.
(works against: Jiggs, wolf, falco, C.falcon, fox, MK(sometimes), DDD, bowser, shiek, mario) <tested on so far.
even if the last hit doesn't connect, it does about 42% on the enemy.

-SIEG
Maybe if Ganon's down throw is staled to dust.

Yeah, Sieg, have you tested on these guys with any type of DI? I'd bet they can DI out of yr gerudo range really easily. I wonder if we could use a BDCed AD -> Gerudo (doubt it), or rather just try a completely different "combo" with D-throw -> BDCed UAir.

I was looking through the guide and I noticed that Lucario is still missing from the "Dealing with Projectile Spam" part of the guide so i'll state what i've noticed about Aura Sphere.

Small Aura Spheres are overrided by DA and Utilt. Medium and Large Spheres can be overrided by an uncharged Fsmash and a Warlock Punch. Everything else in our moveset clashes with all Aura Sphere sizes (that includes the low priority grounded Wizkick).
