I find the IASA frames on the Usmash really hilarious. A little trick I sometimes use is doing an Usmash facing away from the opponent. They will probably rush you (especially if they don't know about the IASA frames), and then you can smack them in the face with a reversed iDA ;D

Me too... Otherwise I'd printed out the guide the first day he posted it, but that was before all the updates...

.........................

I...I swear to god I'm going to kill somebody.

EDIT: Really, I'm going to make someone pay...fromundaman give me whatever you can and I'll do all the updates over myself. It's a good reason I have an update log too. My computer has gone haywire...my saved file has gone poof out of no where. All I ask is forgiveness because I'll try to have this up and running by the end of tonight...or whatever night anyone can email me a good copy n paste.

Again....

FUCK

...oof, don't worry about it though. I'll slave over it until it's back up.

Well, if fromundaman can give you the initial guide, then you just have to add the updates you've written. ;)

Not exactly, fromunda has been completely awesome enough to type out the printed version he has o.O.

So far I added what he gave me.

Yeah... sorry to say this will be pretty delayed though. I don't have internet at home, and going to be too busy today/tomorrow to do much, so I probably won't be able to get the whole guide typed out until Wed at the very soonest. Sorry guys...

(Good thing I'm nerdly enough to carry a guide to a VG character around with me though XD )

Almost redone :D

After that, you should add these threads :

Anyways, do you have an idea of what happened ? You should maybe use you 2nd post to split the guide in two parts ;)
Already added the stage discussion, even in the old one. I'll add some info about the supa hopz though.

I dunno...my theory is that while I was editing it in class, the horrible wifi kicked in and didn't load the text all the way when I hit save...or something like that. I don't think that I erased anything because when I was editing I was just putting in FD's list of projectile cancels. It cut a few paragraphs after that.

...FD's thread has hax, dont quote it o.O!

Ok, but you should take precautions this time, anyways ^_^ I love this guide, i don't want it to be deleted again >_>

[EDIT: Well, i let you finish your guide -_-" I'm gonna be patient ^^]

Or you might be able to do just a reverse buffered jab/d-tilt/f-tilt. Personally if they DI behind me, I just go for f-smash, flame choke chase, or DA the other way. Just because if they DI behind you, it usually registers a buffered roll behind you. Yay for the buffering system, my favorite thing in brawl.

EDIT: But yea, don't worry about it. I'm making a few back ups in a couple places (computer, external HD, etc)

Yeah sorry, my computer's up now (though not internet) so I'll get it typed up and finished this weekend. Just have a research paper due this week (In fact, I need to get off smashboards and finish it >.<) so haven't been able to finish typing it up.

Edit: Going to be a little while still.... I have a **** ton to do by the end of the semester next week...

Um, didn't think this deserved its own thread, and it's probably known already, but....

Ganon can't Ganoncide in lava. Instead it just puts your opponent under the lava hitbox to their death, on Brinstar.

It was a LOL-worthy minor note that I discovered yesterday by plunging Snake's face into the liquid hot magmuh...meh.

Kinda figured it was. Now it'll be something to do on Basic Brawl, or when I feel like screwing around in a match. >_>'

Kirby could DI away from F-tilt upon landing, I'm uncertain though.
Nope, Kirby can only DI away from DA follow up.

I'm going to start getting of my ass and do some more regular updates while fromundaman is preoccupied (>.> I'm not trying to blame you fromunda, I actually completely understand. I haven't been able to do many updates because of school.) First thing that I'm going to add into the guide (along with probably just retyping some of the sections) is a chart with starting kill percents for Gerudo>DA.

I'll probably just incorporate this into the Gerudo>DA chart that's already up. I think it's pretty important for deciding whether you should be saving the DA in the match up or using it a bit more often. MK is a big example of having manage DA. Even though it kills him very early, it's Ganon's most reliable way of getting through tornado and MK's aerial approaches.

Lol, there is no Nike Swoosh, I stole that sh*t and renamed it the Swoops.

Already got a lot of the kill percents and a new summary for the Gerudo>DA section up. Plan to get more up as soon as I can.

You should re-add the section on the Boucing Combo ^^
By the way, i'm gonna try to get it sunday :) This could become really useful. And if they tech, we can still techchase.... MOUHAHA.

And yes, a Gerudo > DA list is a good idea. ;)

Is the Fsmash kill % for regular or angled up? If angled up is a better killer, this should be pointed out. You should at least mention the differences between the three angles.

Good update swoops ^^

Oh, and CF match-up is definitly 40:60. I played one of the best players in Paris yesterday, i ***** his Wario, ROB (He mains Marth / Wario / Sheik in tourneys), but i got ***** by his C.Falcon... He can pressure Ganondorf's defense way too easily. And in the airs, he definitly has the advantage.

40:60 or even 35:65.

Or perhaps the matchup is about even or maybe even a slight advantage for G-dorf and you just don't know how to deal with CF.

It's highly possible.

Yeah, 65:35 in our favor? What's Swoops thinking..

I play CFs every now and then, good ones but not the best. Only a idiot won't realize that Captain Falcon has the advantage.

Well maybe, but i don't think so. Being defensive doesn't work against very good Falcon that mix their approach with SH Nair, Grab, Jab, etc. I mean it can work, but we are not at an advantage. Don't think that a Falcon will mindlessly approach with Down B / Side B. :s
