edit: jan 6th to 8th. if anything it's classes on fri/mon being missed. and i think uog has christmas holidays overlapping this potentially since uog's christmas breaks are 3 weeks instead of the standard 2

edit2: my last exam is on dec 16th, and 3 weeks after that is fri jan 6th, so i guess class starts around the 8th?

heh, from what i can tell, people actually skip classes MORE in university. i guess mostly because you can easily catch up. works especially well in an english class since the assignments ask you to analyse in your own way a book you're supposed to have read on your own time. or in, say, a physics class, where your textbook actually contains everything you will learn and the class is more to help you understand it better.

loool, kyle is right. i personally have skipped quite a bit of classes, to put it lightly

in culinary school if you missed 3 of any one class you failed everything. they didnt joke around

in first year, I had roughly 18 hours of lectures per week. I only went to 2 hours consistently (biology) and even that i would skip on a whim. i did not do well that year lol

I usually go to all my classes now unless I really have a reason to skip (apex lulz)

yeah, from around 3rd year on most of my classes have been interesting and i haven't had much reason to skip anything. also i think a fair amount of people who do skip at least compensate by reading everything or getting any notes that might be posted online. i never do the readings so i have to go to class to know what's going on

i had perfect attendance throughout high school lol. i'm banking on those records to put me on a good note for future job apps since attendance is so important.

in uni, they don't keep track lol. when i knew it was a useless lecture or they taught straight out of the textbook i could learn so much more by myself lol

wouldnt really make sense for them to drive 6 hours to toronto and then go 8 hours to apex.
