- Single Elimination
- Bo3 Normal Games
- Bo5 Semis
- Bo7 Finals
- Possible Pools depending on turnout.
Rules
- 4-stock 8-min
- Items set to off and none.
- Battlefield Only
- Double Blind Pick
- Winner stays character, Loser can change character.
- In the event of a tied Time Up a 1-stock 2-min Overtime round will be played until a winner is decided.
- Percent does not determine winner.
- Sudden Death is not to be played.

and, assuming this happens, i think you should include more stages. it can't really be a "hardcore to the max" tournament if you can't do no items, fox only, final destination. and you might as well have dreamland and yoshi's on too...

"Top Tiers Only" is just the title of the tournament. Any character is allowed.
It's Battlefield because it's the most neutral stage in the game. FD's lack of platforms effectively removes a part of the game that should be played. The whole "No items, Fox only, FD" is just a running gag on smashboards and I don't really think it's that serious.
If people will actually come to this, considering the ruleset, I might actually host this. I even have a venue in mind to host this with.
