so i've sort of taken all this "nocturne op" stuff with a grain of salt, because for some reason i had never been ganked by nocturne's ult... until last game. i was jungle shaco and got instagibbed twice by a nocturne that wasn't even fed. i'm starting to realize that yi level dps with shaco-like ganks and hard cc AND free ghost is ****ing stupid.

Yi level DPS and free ghost are only given by his trail. Which you most likely will get hit by but hes not the slightest bit hard to kill. Just cause a champ brings something new and different to the table doesnt make them "OP"... i couldnt count how many times people complained about Maokai being OP when he first arrived and now look where he is... It seems like a crying shame when a DPS, carry or support actually complains when they have to build some kind of defensive items... getting hit hard by him? build a thornmail or Omen to drop his AS..hell you could even use a Frozen heart or just focus him out entirely...Ive never had a problem with Noct because in the end he always eats the end of my Axes
1550-1600 Elo: 100% win rate with nocturne.
Shame he's banned in like every game.
It's funny, but people seem to think he's okay until .. like... you know... I build warmogs and atmas first item and become an initiating god who takes forever to kill.
Also my first and only ever penta kill was with Corki.
It was a ranked game, second time I had ever played him.
I used the Sona-Stance v.Corki
1. Hold down shift
2. Move mouse towards enemies.
3. Mash Q + R
4. Penta kill.
(Don't forget to have E on).
Tooooo many quadra kills-should have been penta kills due to *******s with Ezreal (and Shaco) though.

If your jungle can afford to give you blue during mid-game, ask them. There's nothing that dominates lane more than a Nasus who can whither you repeatedly while getting every single last hit the lane has to offer with his Q.
You are Nasus, a hero who's Q scales at all points in the game. If there aren't fights going on, you better be getting stacks on your Q. Are you in the jungle on your way to lane? Kill a baby lizard or a wraith with Q.
Aegis sucks on him, imo, but I play a heavy carry Nasus who always stays ahead in farms, so I prefer offensive items to defense, plus I typically pair up with a Janna so my starting ms can be 359 without boots, and she can ward/aura ***** ;p
@Jaz- merc's are VERY necessary, as post-buff Nasus scales better than any other hero late game, and anyone who knows this is going to focus you, GA or not.
tl;dr nasus is a ****ing god.

If I'm playing annie and the game is going really well I will sell all of my items and go AD just to troll (and be annoying as **** because Annies attack range is ********)
so a few days ago I mid against this Karthus (which I thought was a bad matchup for annie)

so right there I had a pretty beefy annie who was puttin in leet deeps at the same time and I was expecting a surrender but the other team just refursed to do so.

now of course I would never do this in a ranked match but the amount of damage annie was doing was freakin hilarious

My only penta has been with AP Yi. If he gets one kill, he gets two, and then three, and then four, and then five. alphastrikealphastrikealphastrikealphastrike.

I only got a triple...MY only chance for a quadra was stolen by this anivia who then scored a quadra....lol

Only need to kill 6 for a legendary kill. Don't really see how they could get back there in time w/o revive and teleport and them trickling in one at a time, though.

I'm so happy to see than someone is in fact behind me. I thought I was the only one doomed never to have a penta. But I have gotten Quadras as Yi (2), Heimer, and Vlad.
I love being Yi at critical mass. As long as I have a QSS or am facing a team with inadequate CC.

I only play tanks and jungle so I haven't gotten a penta. I got a triple kill shen 2 with sunfire.

I just set up my comp and I keep getting the 'UNAVAILABLE' message.. Are the servers down or is there something else wrong?
I never had a quadra at all until I started playing Gangplank and then one game I got two quadras in like five minutes. After the second one the other team immediately surrendered. I couldn't make it a penta either team though because on the first one their fifth guy was trying to split push and the other time he ran the opposite way the rest of the team did, so I chased down one for the quadra but couldn't get catch the fifth. I'll get a penta someday though... hopefully with Pirate! Maybe he'll be OP once they finally remake him.

Got my first pentakill with nidalee yesterday. All in the enemy jungle. I picked up two spear kills I didn't even know about because I was too busy healing/trapping/chasing others.

My 700th win in normal was with Singed. I got a quadra kill at level 7 in bottom lane when TF and Nocturne both tried to gank me while I was fighting their Jarvan and somebody else.
But my first and only penta was with pre-buff Urgot. I had been getting extremely fed and had 50-something ARPen before twenty minutes and half of them were still under level 11, so I was chiseling off 1/3 of people's health with each Q.

I generally just stack as much ap as possible. Start dorans ring, rely on meditate for healing while in lane. Sorc boots of course, get lichbane and deathcap asap (isn't toooo hard, once you hit about lvl 4 alpha strike and get like 80-100 ap, alpha grabs you 4 cs each time). If you're able to get blue, by all means do, as it makes farming super easy. Being ahead on cs helps a ton. Get rylais if they have a lot of burst, qss or banshees if they have a lot of cc. Otherwise you can rely on meditate and ult speed to survive in teamfights. Zhonyas can also be nice to bide time while alpha strike is on cd. Void staff is of course also good once they get some mres. It doesn't feel like you need much mana from items; cdr is nice but generally getting more ap instead makes you more of a threat in teamfights (as kills/assists refreshes alphastrike anyhow); manaregen can also be nice early, but if you can secure blue it isn't necessary. AP and magic pen are your big assets.
Pretty much all of your damage will come from alpha strike and lichbane. Meditate makes you incredibly bulky and heals for a ton if you have decent ap (just of course, if you get stunned during it, you're probably dead). Hitting wuju style procs lichbane. Ult is useful for hit an run, which is what you'll probably be doing in team fights, and of course chasing. Ult and then alpha strike, if you get a kill/assist then alpha strike again, if not get the hell out or meditate if you feel safe doing so, then come back and alpha strike again once the cd is up.
@Tom About yesterday's conversation... that random kiruur chick you were telling me about was playing/streaming today so I got to see what she looked like before I went to watch GBob. Chubby-faced Asian girl. I don't find her cute/attractive at all (though I'm generally not attracted to Asians anyway).

Asians have probably the widest spread between the ugliest and the cutest.
They aren't really everywhere, but I think a few of THE most attractive girls I've seen were Asian.
And the reason guys like Asians is because they can more easily be hot and cute simultaneously.
And for me, Asian eyes... they make me melt. Not the squinty ones... the wide almond eyes. LOVE them.
It's true, though, an Asian with nice curves is tough to find. But I can like them for different reasons. I love me some curves, but being a 5'8", 120-125 pound guy... I have NO problem liking petite girls.
