As a jungler, if my team picks a bunch of late-game champions (say, Irelia, Karthus, Vayne), would it be better to pick someone like Lee Sin or Maokai to help them survive early-game, or someone like Amumu or Mundo to further strengthen our late-game?

Nami wasn't bad. Mediocre/decent but not bad.

I'd rather the champ with the lowest winrate and usage to get it over her.
Nami has the 11th lowest winrate according to lolking.

AA and spell range different values.
Wrong, its targeted and skillshot ranges differentiate. AAs have the same range value as targeted range.

Range is a measurement used to determine how far an autoattack or ability can reach. It shares the scale with movement speed, so one point translates to one game distance unit traveled. Note that autoattack range is measured differently to ability range. Given a source unit's hitbox and a target unit's hitbox, range is calculated as follows: Autoattack range from edge to edge; targeted skill range from center to center; skillshot range from edge to edge; AoE range radius from center to center. The difference is approximately 100 (i.e. 550 autoattack range is roughly 650 casting range)[1][2][3]

I strongly get the feeling that people who are saying Nami is fine have little to no interest in playing her.

I've been playing ranked solo queue.

I've won 1 match, lost 8.

idk if this makes me bad or not. Bot lane is always ********.

Incorrect, AA range is edge to edge just like skillshots while targeted spells are center to center. The difference varies from MU to MU (sona's model is ginormous for example) but it's generally about 100. This is why caitlyn's AA actually puts her out of range of a lot of targeted CC.

This is why if you put ryze vs cait and have her AA at max range, ryze will have to walk forward to use overload on her. It's also why they "decreased" the range of double up for MF, it's a targeted ability that had 650 range but it was supposed to function similar to an AA reset. The problem was while generally it had the same range as her AA, there were odd character models where it was longer or shorter. Several patches ago, as part of MF buffs they just said "screw it, we'll make it go to edge and decrease the range to MF's attack range so you can always use it like an AA reset".

support such a good role now. so much more active and somtetimes i can go without building gp10.
nami is good but pretty hard to land Q. i dont think you should max heal on her, costs way too much mana.

If it's consistent then that tells something Karma still is consistently bad, and probs needs it more.

Win rate isn't necessarily a good tell all the time unless cobsistent either Shaco is top 10 ATM and I think he's mediocre at best.

Orianna has under a 45% win rate and I think she's a tier 1 mid.

Then again solo quere is not ranked 5s.

Karma needs it more but she needs a lot more, she's being entirely reworked which is a completely different team then the live balance team. You could argue that the reworks team needs more resources then the live balance team, but frankly honestly reworking has a lot more bottlenecks.

Also shaco is amazing in solo queue, where you been?

I don't remember the last time i used a different support than Nami besides my teleport/homeguard game where i went Lulu.

I've been spamming Nami support for days. Q has to be used either to chain CC or to peel for your adc, you can't try to fish for Qs unless its laning phase.

Nami rewards an adc that goes on the offense a lot, which means she's bad against bot lanes like Graves/Leona who want that. Ezreal's arcane shift has the easiest time dodging Nami's Q while characters with dashes will also save their dash to dodge your Q if you try to land it before they use it. Tbh i think most Nami's lose cause they try to land Q right away instead of waiting to use it at the right time.

I actually did that today (1st time Morde mid) and the enemy team basically did nothing to me for 15 minutes.
By then I had like 3 kills and was unstoppable lol. Shaco tried to gank me under tower and I demolished him.

1st point I. Riots hands and I agree with the resource point.

2nd is kinda true due to ranked 5s vs solo quere environments, but still don't see him as amazing, and I play Shaco when I gotta jungle. >_>

Shaco is imo a specialist's pick, he's got a very powerful snowballing skillset but he's very apt to fall behind if he doesn't snowball so he's the kind of character that should be played by shaco players not the "gotta jungle, might as well shaco" type

Shaco is only good if 3/3 of your lanes have winning match ups.

Although the new item choices definitely make him better than end of season two.
the thing about shaco is that you really need to run a tanky top with a hard initiation like malphite or run something like support leona bot lane otherwise your team will have no team fight presence as soon as they group up

I hate Shaco so much.

Probably as much as I hate Teemo.

Unless I'm playing Jax then I don't give a **** about either of them. xD
