i've yet to see anyone be dqed for "stalling" for avoiding getting hit; especially because (except in mk's case on the ledge) he's always reachable.

And I can tell you how easy it is to "extend the dimension cape" without anyone noticing, or even to do it 'fairly' by accident.

When's the next character rankings going to be updated? I want to see if ganondorf falls/rises. I'm not sure if my tournament results had been applied yet. I've come 5th in my 2 most recent tournaments.

I used ganondorf for every match in PMS IV. However, in Autumnsmash, I used ganondorf in 3 sets and wario for 2 sets before being knocked out so I'm assuming that the autumnsmash results are invalid?

Sorry if this sounds like a nub question or anything, But does platform canceling only work on moving platforms? I cant seem to do to on normal ones. Just wanted to double check =)

Only works on moving platforms.

Platform cancelling allows you to cancel a jump on a moving platform so you instantly land onto the platform and can start doing magical shiznitch.

It would be like jumping and "wave dashing" to land onto a platform in melee.

Shows marth doing it at 28 seconds and for a few brief moments up until the 35th second. Just as an example.
Considering who the marth player is (Mr. R) you could probably watch continual platform cancelling throughout the match at many many moments.

With platform cancelling, smashville is slowly becoming marth's best neutral stage in the current metagame.

Works on any place of a moving platform.

You have to time pressing "down" + instantly another action when your feet align with the platform.

I found ti hard for ages... only been getting more natural with it using the c stick for it...
WIth using joystick I can only platform cancel into shield/grab !_!

ZSS can ghetto platform cancel using her dair. The very start of her dair autocancels so it works like a platform cancel. It's p cool.

Yeah same as marth's dair. Hence why it's easier to use c stick I think.

Well you can do it on some platforms on ps1 and lylat, delfino to.

Diddy can pretty much auto glidetoss from platform cancels hehe.

You can always do it on Lylat. You can only do it on Delfino and Yoshi's when the platform is actually moving.
