Brawl doubles for avcon were today. Somehow we got there a bit late and registration had closed even though we were like there 20 minutes after the event opened.
So i teamed with Desert Eagle who had already registered and we won each a $100 voucher for gametraders.
We waited like 2 hours for this ultimate gamer comp to finish so we could play on the big screen.
When someone plays ike against u in doubles and ur playing snake its like they're handing the win to u. It was an f-tilt party.
Even though most of the people there weren't that good, it was still tense as every match was best out of 1. The finals were best out of 3, same with semifinals. The final k.o. Desert Eagle shine spiked ike or the IC's. Either way it was a good finish. It probably would've been a bit greedy if me and djb were together and won.

Celebrating it's first year of existence!
The Australian edition of the Character Ranking List has been successfully in inciting patronage and patriotism throughout the Australian scene for the past 12 months; starting out small with it's monthly or so posts in the now dead Australian Smash Discussion topic, before a new 'aussie [brawl] discussion' thread was created with this as it's centre piece!
And in this last month, Samus finally got some points, no longer being last in the over all or tri-monthly list thanks to Kaion
.
With most of this month having several Australians across the East Coast visiting the United States, there has been a lacking of tournaments from the New South Wales region. However the slight deficit fortunately being patched by some random QLD tournaments :D. With all the players returning, especially those of NSW, it's perhaps this list’s anniversary which will be the land mark in a new age of Australian Brawl; with a higher level of skill being adopted thanks to hard core training from the United States - which thanks to natural progression will spread to the far reaches of our beautiful country, hopefully making brawl a more competitively intense game over the coming months.
Also, screw this list, Marth and Pokemon Trainer are like crap now; just you guys wait!!!! *raised fist*

Nice little write up Shaya.
I think NSW has boosted in skill level the most (essentially because you four trained the most out of all of us), so you're more likely to see the skills proliferate further than QLD will.

MK makes me a bit sad. At least our Mk's aren't as good as american ones.
I think there's a healthy ratio of MK's, but that's just me.

Best enjoy ganon being as high as he is on this tier coz i don't wanna use him in a tourny again. It's just that snake is so much more fun, landing n-airs never get boring.
When did samus win a tourny? Was it a low tier tourny, im guessing it is, otherwise she would be higher than where she is.
More people need to use olimar!! Playing Pikmans 2 makes me want to pick up olimar :D
What's wierd in brawl is, white pikmin can be thrown the furthest, yet in pikmin yellow pikmin are like the lightest and can be thrown real high and far.
Brawl needs more characters, 39 isn't enough!
